Worth Every Penny - Blending is Excellent
I was uncertain about how these markers would work because they are so inexpensive compared to Copic. I was pleasantly surprised by how well they blend. I wish they came with brush tips, but the tips can be replaced with brush tips, so it's not really a big deal. Even the tips that they have create smooth color that is comparable to Copic markers. The only complaint I have about these markers is that the colors are not always like the color shown on the cap or color chart. The skin tones are far more pink than I would like, but I am still able to get realistic skin tones by blending the colors.I have not tried to use them in combination with Copic markers yet, but because of the number of Copics I own, I will be trying that soon.Overall, these markers are a great alternative to Copic markers and, in my opinion, perform better when it comes to blending. They are comparable when it comes to layering color. I look forward to using these markers often.

Great Copic Alternative!
I love these markers! They not only arrived WEEKS before they were scheduled but the colors are vibrant and lovely. I use them as a Copic marker alternative and they're more than enough for me, being a beginner trying out alcohol markers for the first time. I have the Blues, Reds, Cool Greys, Purples, and now this set of these markers and I love all of them! They do leak through the paper unless you have a special paper meant for markers or paints but it's not that big of a hassle. Obviously the ink isn't at the quality level of Copics but for a less expensive alternative they work great! Love them!

One of the markers was defective...
I ordered this set as I wanted to get more skin tone shaded markers to use and I read this was a decent brand to go with... They just came in today (1-10-18) and while I can say most of the markers were nice my TN2 is already partially dried and the side with the bullet nib pulls off every time I try opening the marker. While the chisel tip is fairly moist it doesn't consistently lay down the color like the rest of the markers do.In the picture I added you should be able to see the areas I tried using both sides of the marker, while the chisel side can be persuaded to go on in a smooth line eventually the bullet does not.

Three of the colors aren't very good skin-tones.
These are really nice quality markers, but I do have a problem with them. I only use three out of the six colors, because the EB2 is NOT a skin tone in my opinion. This color is more like a brass tone than a cool brown. TN2 though I do use this color for things other than skin, it is quit orange and in my opinion is too yellow. Making this color impossible for me too use as a skin-tone. PP1 is just a baby pink tone and far too light for lips. So I only use the colors: FS2, FS3, and FS6 for skin tones.

Bought as a gift
Bought these as a gift for my daughter, she really really liked them and has done some anime type characters. These markers were skin tone colors so you may need to pair them with another set of markers like I did because most sets usually don't have these skin tones included for drawing faces. Honestly I didn't even know there was such a thing as high quality markers for artists but these are defefinity high quality.

Yes the price is great..
Im giving this 2 stars because this is not a new item. Its a dead stock item that should be discounted heavily. They are not giving you anything here. Yes the price is great ...but is it great for 5yr old markers. Packaging is from 2013 and says so right on the back. All of them were able to leave a test mark, sort of. But they are old pens. The ink is kind of dragging and it seems thick. What use are these to anyone if they dont work? Best business practice would be to clearly state that you are selling a dead stock item, which in this case happens to be 5 year old alcohol markers. They are Alcohol markers. Right a way.

Great set of markers for blending skin tones
Great set of markers for blending skin tones. Markers work very well and at an great price compared to the name brand copic markers. I am happy with my purchase and will stick with spectrum noir over copic because the price difference is HUGE and the quality is almost the same. Very happy and highly recommend! Heres a couple pics showing skin tones from this set and other colors from the other spectrum sets. Love these markers!

Spectrum Noir skin-tone are great; Amazon over-prices them
I bought these Spectrum Noir skin-tone markers to complement other set I already own. They work well as alcohol ink and all came nice and 'juicy' (not dried out). I'm giving it 3-stars though because these are now at Joann fabrics so you can save 50% by buying the set there with a coupon (paper or digital).
