Review: His favorite toy - My grandson's favorite toy at my house. Every time he comes over he pulls these books down and either reads them himself or brings them to me to read together. The single word pages help with his learning to talk that he can point at a cow and tell me that it says "moo" or pick out the star shape. His favorite is Things That Go because of all the noises the different things make when we read it together, but he loves Numbers, too. He is 16 months and when we got to the page for "nine" he told me it was "nine" {proud grandma, here}. The books are pretty durable, too. He bends them backwards and they still haven't broken apart, although the box they are stored in has a split corner now.

Learning Library Children's books for a new teacher (Grade 1)
.This is a gift for my granddaughter that just became a grade 1 teacher. Her wish after graduation was for books and things she can use in her grade 1 class room. She loves this set of books.

Great Start to Home Education!
Our little one has LOVED these sweet books. They have clear, bright illustrations and simple English words. The subjects are nicely varied, and we appreciate the diversity of the babies and kids in the pictures. They've endured several weeks of use, being read several times a day, on average. However we are starting to see wear and tear. Disappointing when we like to keep books for several children in a row. Our only true complaint is that some of the pictures aren't showing the healthiest aspects of life. Like cake, cookies, television, etc. We just feel that these words don't need to be introduced to such young children.

Fantastic first books
I've had these since my daughter was 6 months, and she loves them still. Most of them cover the basics that you would hope for, like colours, numbers and animals and food. I like the thickness of each page, good for little hands without being flimsy. I absolutely recommend these for anyone with a baby who likes books.
