Such a great system!!!!!!
Such a great all in one system for the money. Being able to use thumb drives with the Rekordbox software was definatly an upgrade from my previous controller (DDJ-RB). It feels like it will withstand a lot of use. Is the perfect size for most desks, and overall a great value that will also help familiarise you with higher end systems such as the DDJ-900 and the Nexus 2000 mk2s

Great standalone for anyone wanting an introductory to the Pioneer club standard setup!
Really enjoying this unit. Sound quality is great, build quality is great, and usability is just like the club standard nexus setup. The only downfall is the user interface which feels a bit dated, however, it still gets the job done. I'm impressed with the build quality coming from a DDJ-1000. I noticed the buttons are tighter than the controllers which was one of my gripes with the DDJ-1000 and DDJ-800. Overall, excellent standalone and I'm looking forward to the future successor of this unit.

Pretty Crazy
You just throw in a USB stick and your ready to go, it's going to be great not having to worry about live computer issues. All profession knobs and effects, the BPM sorting and touchscreen search is great for finding the right track, very high output from the main and headphone jack. So far the problems I've noticed are that the tracks automatically play when loaded (even though I have them set not to) and the quantize and sync don't always seem to work out. When I bring in a new track I typically have to fine tune before I can switch over. If quantize is on shouldn't it match to at least a bar?? The loops are strange with quantize sometime too.. Idk I'm still learning a bit, and there is always a option to just use as a controller instead of standalone for when I need more features.

Manual isn't written the best but overall it's been a pleasure to use.
I'm really enjoying the conveniences this all in one stand alone system offer. It's very intuitive but that may seem so as I'm a veteran DJ. I love using USB media and how easy it is to see via the screen the wave forms.

Overall good!
The media could not be loaded. I got this to simulate a CDJ Nexus 2 set up I'm going to be using to play a show. For that purpose it has served me well! Overall I enjoy using the XDJ RX2. The faders have a good amount of resistance and are smooth.A couple things I don't like:When using the touch pads for the 'beat jump' function, the song gets off time. For example, if I skip forward 16 bars, the needle will be slightly off of the 16th bar. The video I posted shows this. Also, on occasion, the loop function seems to be off time when it is supposedly 'quantized'.Ocassionally when I load a song to a deck, the waveform will not show up on the display. This makes it difficult to mix on solely visuals which is my preferred method of mixing. I've also noticed this problem on the XDJ RX. I'm not sure if this is a rekordbox issue or a hardware issue.

The portable CDJ Nexus 2’s. Glad I bought it.
Glad I purchased. Was on the fence, but that stimulus money hit the ole bank account, so I said, hey... why not?! I’ve been DJing on Pioneer CDJ Nexus 2’s and this is what I imagine the perfect portable version being in relation to those. It has everything you need, isn’t too heavy, and only requires two cords to get going (an AUX or XLR, and the power cord). Super happy I bought it. Definitely recommend. Or wait until they announce the new version (XDJ RX-3?), but who knows when that’ll be?

Best DJ System
I love Pioneer products. This is the ultimate DJ System. Coming from the CDJs period this is the system to have. Love the fact that I don't need my laptop anymore. So many features. Best DJ buy I have made.

The real deal
Very good quality. Not quite the Nexus, but a very good compromise at less than 1/3 the price.
