Eh...
Cannot use USB-C as video drives. Currently on my laptop i have 2 monitors, One through USB-C and one through HDMI.I got this dock to eliminate the need for all of my laptop ports to be used all the time. However even the USB - C PD does not read video which is a shame for the price of this.Oh well i made it work but it will be hard to expand on this setup with this device.Overall not bad quality but this is a feature that the developers should have thought of.I also do not trust the 4k quality and response rate.

It works
I just purchased a laptop to use with my larger monitor, key board and mouse. This docking station worked well with the Dell XPS 15 laptop ports without breaking the bank. I have had no issues with it and it fits nicely in a small space. I can remove two cables and take the laptop with me and plug back in when I return. I have a couple extra ports available if I need them. I would purchase this again.

Have to reset video after each power cycle
Maybe it is my computer/OS but evertime I powered cycle I have to unplug & replug the host connection to reset video and my USB keyboard. As long ad my computer remains powered on, the video & USB ports work.

Another USB-C dock fails at 4K@60Hz on the Dell Precision 5530 - Stick with Thunderbird 3 Docks
Dell Precision 5530 owner here - dual-boot Fedora 36 (Linux) and Windows 10 ProfTo date, only Thunderbird 3 (or 4) docks seem to support 4K@60Hz with DisplayPort 1.2a (or better), even just a single output.**Most USB-C docks, like this one, fail to work at anything but 2.5K@60Hz or 75Hz at best, on DisplayPort 1.2a (or better). In the case of this dock, it reported 4K@50Hz, but refused to use it. 4K@30Hz was flickering. It's not the cable as another dock works.I was hopeful to get 4K@60Hz with at least a single DP, even if not dual-4K@60Hz. I think it's more of an issue with the USB-C spec than anything. As I mentioned, I have a Dell Precision 5530 workstation class notebook.**Wavlink dual-DP (dual-4K@60Hz, or single-5K@60Hz) Thunderbird 3 Docking Station (US$70 ~ $55 on-sale): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B098X85B82/This Wavlink Thunderbird dual-DP dock that has no issue with dual-4K@60Hz (or 4K@60Hz + 2.5K@144Hz, or dual-2.5K@144Hz).

Love It!!!!!
Easy set up. Two monitors, wireless mouse and keyboard, and headphones. Plugged in and they worked! Many more ports open.

Problematic
Although the seller reached out on multiple occasions and we engaged in light technical dialog the docking station has never worked correctly. After accepting that I cannot use it as a multi-display dock I was simply using it as a USB hub. Now that doesn’t work. So then I was using it for the Ethernet connection through USB-C. Now that doesn’t work. I’m left with an $89.99 coaster that I cannot return.
