Great Buy
A bit small but perhaps in a good way. It employs great with the buckle or with the Velcro on a plate carrier. The zipper is clutch, almost works as a fanny pack too. The lining is warm, tested below freezing and it is great to tuck hands into in between work. Love it.

Works great with KUIU Pro Bino harness or standalone with the included waist strap.
I hoped this would integrate with the KUIU Pro Bino harness bottom Velcro and it does. Fits tight to the harness and body. Will be a good hand warmer for days I don’t want gloves. L/XL hands in gloves will be tight I believe. The gray color matches the KUIU VIAS gray perfectly. 11/7/2025 update: I love this Handwarmer. Perfect to wear with the strap or on the bino harness. Toasty hand oven. Especially with a handwarmer inside. Keep your hands ready to use in the field.

Cozy, warm, and light
Interfaces with the eberlestock recon bino pack perfectly, which may be most important. Inside is lined with a Cozy fur type material. Outside is soft and stretchy. It comes with a strap to use as a stand alone hand muff and a zippered pocket to put some activated hand warmers or store the strap. My one complaint is that the hand openings are large and I am expecting to catch drafts of cold air. This is likely by design to allow use with gloves and/or avoid hangups when placing or removing hands. However, I plan to use this in the fall, before I need gloves, in order to keep my hands warm but fingers useable.

Does the job well
For hunters using an Eberlestock chest rig, the Recon Handwarmer seems like a practical addition to stay comfortable in cold weather. It's designed specifically to attach to the bottom of their Recon Modular Bino Harness, keeping your hands right in a convenient position while you're sitting or standing, which is a big plus for maintaining dexterity without needing bulky gloves. Beyond just a place to warm your hands, it often includes a zippered pocket that's handy for stashing air-activated hand warmers for extra heat or even the included waist belt if you want to use the handwarmer on its own. Users appreciate its build quality and how effectively it keeps hands warm, making those long waits in a blind or treestand much more bearable.
