GREAT Product when used appropriately… BAD if not…
So, the form factor looks like it belongs in a toolbox, just one that is not labeled plumbing. Second, before buying, I had some good laughs at the reviews. I understand the need for certified plumbers. So, operation is pretty simple, screw it on the end of a garden hose, shove down pipe as far as it will go, and, S-L-O-W-L-Y turn on water… wait awhile, clog cleared! But… after reading some other reviews, lets get into some tips so you don't end up on a streaming comedy channel…1. Understand what you're doing. You're pressurizing a line with very little to no pressure. If there's a weak spot that can't handle typical water pressure, ie. 40psi-60psi range, then the pressure will find it.2. Understand that if doing a sewer/septic line clog, if there are drains upstream of the clog, you could end up with a fountain that you'll aptly describe appropriately when you see it - make sure those lines are plugged, like a washer drain line.3. Understand the normal plumbing connections and plan appropriately…if you clog the ol' pooper-flusher-downer after Thanksgiving, be proud, but get the balloon past the wax ring first… that's a nasty little surprise.4. VERIFY that the clog is cleared. Go downstream and verify water is flowing freely. If not, you'll end up with a review like one previously dated.5. Understand what SLOWLY opening the valve means. Don't turn on that water full blast inside of 3 seconds. Crack the valve to allow slight water flow, wait awhile, say, 1 minute, then open a little more, repeat 5-6 times until fully opened. Most of the failures on the reviews appear to have been from opening too fast. The shock of the pressure hitting absolutely will pop something like this, if it's not fully charged first. This isn't something obvious, working with pressurized hoses every day, and one learns this little fact extremely quickly.

The best purchase I've ever made!
I never write reviews but I was so imoressed with this product, I had to.Let me start by saying that we have had plumbing problems for years! Most of the time our motorized snake could fix the issue, but only temporarily . This time around we could not fix our problem. I even purchased a power washer and a 100 ft jetter hose which we tried multiple times to clear our pipe. We went a good 75 ft and had no luck. At the same time we had a backed up tub in the boys bathroom. While searching for another fitting for the hose to clear the pipe, I came across this bad boy. The reviews had me sold. Received this product the next day and in a matter of two minutes, we cleared the kitchen drain! We have never had the kitchen sink be able to run for a good half hour before backing up! I was so impressed. We decided to work on the bathtub going through the actual tub itself. Another two minutes and the drain is completely clear! Don't waste your money on all the other stuff, this is an amazing invention! I am so happy. Saved me I don't know how much because I was about to finally call a plumber this week.

Great for cleaning out the AC drain line, worked like a charm.
Bought this to clean out the drain line, and it worked great. Disconnected at the access point of the pipe near the handler and inserted into the tube. Had my wife turn the water on to ensure it didn't come flying out of the end. The bladder expanded and held it in place. Cleared all the gunk out of the AC drain pipe. Hoping this helps my AC to breath a little better during this HOT HOT weather in Florida, but will be adding to my regularly scheduled maintenance routine. Much easier and better than using a shop-vac.

Lifesaver, but it blew up after clearing the drain.
I used the small one to clear a clog in a sewer check valve. In the past, I’ve had to disassemble the valve in the vault which is 3-4ft down and an absolute pain, not to mention messy. This worked like charm when dropped down the nearby clean out. I could only fit the smaller one around the right angle needed, but it was big enough. It cleared the clog in 1 minute. But after the clog cleared I ran it one more time just to double check, and this time it did not release any water and then the balloon popped! A chunk of rubber is lost down the drain, but probably small enough to have washed out.I’m glad I got it but am disappointed it only worked once. Still worth it, given the other options.

Excellent plumbing trap tool
This will save a major cost for getting a plumber. If you have a sewer trap very easy to use screw it on your end your hose turn it on wide open. Open your sewer box by the street and you can see the clock go by once it builds up pressure.

Good for 8 months - then bladder exploded
I purchased the DK-COMBO-PACK and used the 4" bladder about every other week for eight months to keep the basement floor drain clear. It was working very well. However, today when I was using it for same, the bottom half of the bladder suddenly blew off and disappeared down the drain. Hopefully, the broken piece is not lodged in my sewer lateral now and ready to cause more problems.Because this problem seems to have happened to a significant number of other customers, I am giving this product a *** NOT RECOMMENDED ***.

broke first time use
Hoping to get it replaced, I have a 4 inch drain pipe in my backyard to prevent backyard flooding and it is clogged with leaves and dirt, inserted the 4 inch in the pipe and turned on the water and heard a pop and the items was broke. Had the water on for about 5 seconds.
