Not for leather. It's ridiculous to suggest this can cut leather. I tried it with some fairly thin hide and a hydrolic press. Couldn't cut through it. Probably fine for paper.

Product was built well and punched paper and leather well with ease. The 2 star rating is because I could never get them to look anything that can close to the pictures they show . And could not find any instructions or videos to help so I sent back the product which was disappointing because I really want to make leather rose flowers.

I thought I was ordering a die for Accuquilt.

I ordered this die because the seller stated it works with the Accuquilt die cutting system. It does not!!! When I use a die made by Accuquilt it works, every time. You need to use a mat with it and it does not matter whether the mat is a tad larger or you're hanging one end of the mat over the edge of the die, it works. With this die, however, my 6 inch mat is slightly larger than the die and the height of the die is higher than my Accuquilt dies. So, when I try to run it through the die cutter, the mat and die together do not fit through, no way, no how. The only solutions I can think of are for the manufacturer of this die to make them a little larger than 6 inches square, or provide a mat with the die that fits inside the edges of the die so that it might work with an Accuquilt machine. This die is absolutely useless to me.
