Not very sturdy , can easily break if stressed too much. I do like the design and of course that it’s wood. I could use some gorilla wood glue to fix one that my dreads got the best of. I’m okay with the purchase. But probably just use them for outside in my yard to hold my mane in a bun, while doing yard work instead of out and about in the big world.

The two darker crescents arrived safely, but the light one arrived broken in half and was more of an orange color. I didn't bother to return because the other two are fine and these weren't expensive at all. The color for the darkest and reddish crescents was as advertised. The wood isn't very smooth, but it's not so rough as to be damaging to my hair. Overall, I'm very happy with the two I received successfully.

These are super cute, and sturdy. Depending on how you place them, they can look like little devil horns coming up from the back of your head, which people really seem to get a kick out of. They are thicker and heavier than expected, and as a consequence- were I not a professional Cosmetologist, they'd be a bit problematic to make work in my fine hair. These works be great for someone with a thick mane of medium to long hair looking for something to twist into it to pin it up casually. I only have one real complaint, they are not as smoothly finshed as I would expect; they are NOT rough or snagging, but I expected a sealed satin finish since these are for hair, and these are not as expected for the intended use. If I modified them, then their stain would likely be ruined in the sanding process, so they'll stay as is.

These hair moons are beautiful and feel very sturdy. They are smooth enough to go through hair easily and they won't snag or catch at all. I was really excited to use them, but ultimately ended up sending them back because I just couldn't get the hang of them.I have very thick, straight, navel length hair that gets quite heavy when worn on top of my head.

I love a French pin, but this thing is really hard for me to use. That being said, because of the shape, once it’s in there it’s VERY secure for hours! I love the large size. I do feel odd wearing other statement jewelry type pieces with it but it’s great to elevate what is essentially a messy bun on its own. Also really durable, my kids threw one down the stairs and it didn’t take a bit of damage 😅

The item(s) arrived in a plastic/vinyl mailing envelope. Poorly packed, 1broken. They are very lightweight. More decorative than useful. They are not smoothe and tend to snag and pull hair.
