Earthquaker DevicesTone Job V2 EQ and Boost, Purple Sparkle (Gear Hero Exclusive)

You cannot go wrong with Earthquaker Devices, and the Tonejob delivers. I use it in order to EQ different guitars through my pedal board. So rather than tweaking each pedal, I use the Tonejob first in my pedal chain to EQ and level single coils vs humbuckers, bright vs darker, low vs high output pickups. It is quiet overall. The soft touch switch is great and no popping. I don't regret buying this.

I got this pedal because my amp didn't have a mid control, but I use it for more than expected. It's very clean and even at 9V there is very little clipping at full volume. I run it at 18 volts and the headroom adds a great punch before my drives and greater control of dynamics in my rig. I find the 12oclock notches for the T/M/B pots really helpful. As with my other EQD pedals, I love that the jacks are mounted at the top: it's so much easier to route your signal on a pedalboard this way.My only criticisms are 1) unity gain is around 10 oclock, but that gives more room for big boosts, and 2) the T/M/B pots are a little more sensitive than I usually need: I rarely stray past 9 and 3 oclock.Bottomline: there are more powerful equalizers out there, but the Tone Job does what you need really well, and there's really nothing bad about it. I'll never take it off my board.

Good pedal but NOT a boost in any way.I use an Orange amp and wanted to try this one as a boost/EQ combo.Do not use it in Effects loop!Regular boosts like Maxim and Ibanez have a cap of 50 or 50 DB. This one is around 500. Huge volume boost only

This does exactly what you'd expect. A clean, transparent boost and EQ. The EQ knobs are extremely usable. EQD did a great job choosing the frequency ranges. I love it. Great for amps with limited onboard tone controls.

Exactly what I was looking for! It's very subtle but that's its strong point! If you're looking for something to drastically alter the tone, look elsewhere.

ベースで使用しています。ボードの1番最後に入れていますが、音がグッと良くなります。これ無しだと何だか物足りないとすら思えます。ミッドの具合で、ベースとトレブルの効きも変わるのでその場に合わせて好みの音が出しやすいですね。初めて使ったときは、ちょっとギラギラし過ぎかなぁと思ったのですが、今ではなくてはならない相棒です。18vで使っています。
