useful ports for my needs
Everything is excellent EXCEPT I would have liked to of had the name of the port etched on to the router rather than a pull off tape.

Can I give 0 stars?
DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS MANUFACTURERThis product worked fine for 6 months then began glitching. It started by no longer charging the laptop, then progressed to no longer connecting external monitors and finally to other accessories disconnecting randomly during use. Since this is the sole reason for buying a docking station, it’s a major issue when it stops working.Troubleshooting offered is ineffective and support through the manufacturer includes misleading website links to contact, email addresses that bounce back immediately as error, and otherwise inaccessible assistance. It’s now been one year and the unconventional workarounds are failing as well. I will not buy from this manufacturer again and can’t discourage others enough from purchasing anything from this company. What a waste of dollars.

Excellent for Mac/PC displaylink
Works well when using displaylink and HDMI monitors simultaneously for both Macbook and PC. Has USB and USB-C ports as well as ethernet connections. Good quality and excellent performance.

Trouble shoot a lot
The media could not be loaded. So great dock because it connects everything to my laptop using just one cable I have MacBook pro 14 inch 2021 m1 pro base model btw. So with that said after about 2 months it randomly stopped working one day, and I kept trying and realized okay it definitely must be the dock so I unplugged and just connected my laptop directly to the monitors and audio interface I have. However the following day I said how about I try it again why not. It worked so then I rehooked it up and cable managed and was happy and then boom it didn't work. So I started googling and I figured out how to do a system report on mac I scroll down to USB and realize my mac doesn't even recognize the dock as a USB hub which it should as I've seen in other images of people connecting hubs to their mac. My laptop literally just thought it was a charger. So I googled somemore and went to oricos website and it said though their products are usually plug and play sometimes there may be troubleshooting involved so I was like okay that's reassuring. Then it said maybe try plugging it into a different port on your computers and I realized all the ports on my laptop support thunderbolt but I continued to use the same one to try to get the dock to work so then I flipped the laptop to the other side and plugged it into the the thunderbolt port on that side and boo everything works now. I have no idea how simply connecting it to a different port worked but it did so yeah don't give up and just email them immediately try many things the product comes with a 1 year warranty btw and you can find the contact info either with the box it came with or on website thankfully it didn't get that far however.

Caused serious damage to my Mac M1 Pro Max and wrecked an external Sanyo 2TB SSD.
I have had this product for about 5 days. Today, day 5, I left my Mac M1 Max powered and running through this hub. The hub was powered using the Apple M1 power supply plugged into a surge protector. When I returned about 6 h later my M1 has serious problems which I cannot fix (freezes even on reboot) and one of the two SSD drives is completely fried ..... will not work even on another Mac while the other one does. The M1 and the hard drive were both working fine when I started work in the morning, now I must take them in. I emailed the manufacturer in China, and I will add to this review if they respond. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. If you do, make sure you have a service contract on your Mac and a back up of your SSD drives. Now I have to get mine fixed replaced and I have lost the data on the Sanyo drive.

I WANT TO LIKE IT BUT...
NEED ASSISTANCE WITH THIS ITEM (Orico CDH-15N Type C 15-1 Multi-Function Docking Station) Where is the POWER CORD? ORICO states it requires "20V=5A 100W Max" PD Power from the "Type C 100W PD Port" but FAIL TO INCLUDE one. INSTEAD, ORICO offers a USB-C to USB-C cable in the box and on Amazon's website, instead. AM I REQUIRED TO PURCHASE A C-POWER CABLE for all the devices the ORICO has to run? Also, I am horrified by some recent reviews. I don't remember seeing those reviews when I first started researching this product. The product seemed so sleek and sturdy and now that I actually have it it still appears that way, however, once I finally get it a POWER CORD and get it fired up... I hope my dollars won't BURN UP in blue titanium colored smoke...

Love it, super fast ports.
I love this hub works really well with my MacBook Air. I needed something that had a real thunderbolt thorough put and this one does. I’m able to get upwards of 2300 Mb/sec on my external drives, none of the other ones are used to that.

does what it says on the tin
A few comments. Nothing terrible - buy it!Rugged feel and look.I've managed to knock it over a few times. I need to be more careful or it needs to be less top heavy. Not a fan of the SD slots. I use them but the SD cards feel like they are going into poor "scratchy" connectors - but they DO work without a problem. The cards barely go in at all - you know those slots that you think shouldn't work but do? Those!None of the sockets are labeled. I mean this SHOULDN'T be a problem, most of us can figure it out, right? But the unit comes with nasty sticky packaging labels that I assume are supposed to be removed (I hope so) that indicate the slot uses. A simple "input" arrow and "headphone" symbol might be nice - but again, we can work it out and nobody is going to die while we get it sorted out.Not a massive fan of the cable to the computer either. Needlessly chunky and less than flexible but again - works just fine.Happy with the unit. It works - does what it says on the tin and was the closest to spot on for my needs.Happy to recommend. The review might sound rough but it's fine.

Excellent for Broken Screen AND for tablets
I needed this when my phone's screen broke and I could not control the phone to backup and restore to my new phone. With this, I hooked up my phone to my monitor via HDMI and my USB keyboard and mouse - quick and easy fix. Bonus: I now use this to connect a keyboard and mouse to my tablet that has a USB-C port... has made my table MUCH more useful (esp. email and OneNote) and has replaced my laptop when i travel. Well constructed - great value!

Screen extention and LAN not working
The media could not be loaded. I had seen good review for this product, but the devise did not work on HDMI screen extention, Lan connection. USB port seems to work. A small portable devise is working well(as seen in the video) I think this is a falty piece, need replacement or refund.
