Portable, sturdy and stable.
We tried out this seat today. It came fully assembled and worked right out of the box. It unfolds smoothly and is quite stable. It was comfortable to sit on for both adults and kids. It was also easy to transport along with other camping stuff and did not snag any of the other equipment. So no sharp points or edges. We have one of those pop up tents for changing and this fit in perfectly along with a bucket filled with kitty litter underneath for a personal restroom. It was also easy to fold up and put to the side when we wanted to convert the tent to a gravity shower. The only drawback I see is with the cleaning. The rim of the seat is attached to the frame and its underside is hollowed out with a pattern. So if it gets messy, it will need some effort to wipe clean or rinse out. Making the rim lift up and be smooth on the underside would help a lot with the cleaning. Despite this however, I am still giving it 5 stars since its light, stable and high quality. We would definitely take it on future camping trips.

Better camping toilets for less money out there
I got this for an emergency camping toilet. Can fold away which is nice... but they all do that. This arrived with zero instructions but as far as I can tell there's no place to hang a bag other than wrapping it right over the seat. It'd be nice if the seat lifted up and the bag could be hung in a way so you're not sitting on it. The metal chair frame feels sturdy enough but the plastic toilet seat is a bit flimsy, probably good enough for what it is but the advertised weight rating of 275 seems generous.

Nice and compact for camping
This little toilet chair will be great for our camping trips. We just camp in tents so no toilet or running water for us. This folds up and takes up very little space, which is great. It feels sturdy and it came assembled. The only thing I wish it had is some way to attach a bag under the seat, the only way I can see to put the bag on is wrapping it over the seat and then pushing it through the hole which will be kind of counter productive and make it hard to do the cleanup part of your business when finished. There are four extra mounting holes on the bottom of the seat that I was thinking of using to screw on some strong clips to hold a bag or even just some hooks like are used for hanging cups that you could poke through a bag to hold it under the seat. I’m sure there are other options that would work as well, those are just the first two that came to my mind and I thought I would share them for anyone else to use or brainstorm from. The second picture shows the mounting/screw locations I am referring to. Overall great little chair!

Weak design
It has no strength, first try and the hinge on its side that is supposed to keep it from bottoming out gave out the on the first try. Really thin metal hinges.

Great concept, poor execution
I really liked the idea of this, but there is absolutely no way it is worth fifty dollars. Not even close. Twenty maybe. The idea is actually a really good one. Folding chairs are very handy, easy to tuck out of the way when they aren't needed and reasonably lightweight. The only good thing about this is the fact that it opens and closes smoothly. Folding it and getting it open only takes a second or two. The seat is extremely small and flimsy though. Very awkward. You can feel it flexing just by applying pressure with your hand. Can it really support the amount of weight it claims? As a matter of fact I am right around that weight and yes, it did support me sitting on it for the couple minutes I dared to try it. The sizing of this is really awkward and the seat on it is basically junk. If they're going to charge this much they could at least put a decent seat on it. If you think you're going to just stick one of the usual five gallon buckets underneath this the way I did you are out of luck. A standard five gallon bucket is too big to fit underneath this thing. We did find that a cheap black mop bucket from the dollar store did fit underneath it, but it's too low for my comfort level, so it will have to be propped up on something to put it up closer to the seat. Put simply, this is not the quick and easy solution I was hoping for at all. The seat is small and flimsy, the frame too small to accommodate the standard five gallon bucket that most people would reasonably expect it to work with, and for this amount of money you can absolutely find something much better. Can not recommend it at all.

Got this for camping
I got these for camping during the summers. The biggest downside to them is that it doesn't fold any smaller than a regular folding chair. I wish that there was an easier way to store it, but the quality does make up for that. Also because of the nature of the chair there's not really a way to store a bag on it, I'm thinking about getting a small bucket and maybe lining the bucket with a bag. Proper waste disposal is really important, and as awesome as the seat is, it definitely makes that harder.

For emergency use only
I got this for camping and day trips to the woods. I say emergency use only, because I have a friend who usually has blowouts, and makes a huge mess. Fortunately there's a creek close to us most of the time, and it cleans up easily. At camp it works great in our homemade outhouse.
