Confusing notation
The book never explains why in some of the rhythms (including the first one - Maksoum) on the single line notation some note heads are placed on the line and others above the line. This still isn't clear to me having studied the rhythm elsewhere. The instruction on how to make sounds is quite limited and also makes no mention of or accomodation for left handed playersThe only good thing about the book is the number of rhythms, but the confusing notation means this isn't easy to work with either.
