The switch functions just fine when I hook it up
I can't get this to work for my note 8 which updated to oreos couple of days ago. The switch functions just fine when I hook it up, but the phone triesto go into DeX mode then crashes right away. I tried hooking thingsup in different orders, and still got nothing. It seemsto be having trouble maintaining the hdmi connection, and is causing the phone to act buggy.

Alternative docking solution
Great product that arrived promptly. Is alot smaller then it looks. I brought this as a alternative for my Nintendo Switch as the official dock is a scratch inducing extortion. Please bare in mind that if you are buying for the same reason at the time of writing, and you want to charge your switch also you will need the official Nintendo charger (£20) and you may also want a kick stand(£5-20) I got the Hori official one which is excellent as it has spacing for vents so system wont heat up as much. All in all you end up with a system that is still cheaper then the official Dock minus the scratching and unnesserery over heating, on the plus side you get more versatile options for your style of play.

Worked with my switch but only with the official switch charger. This partly defeats the point as I still have to fiddle at the back of my TV to unplug my dock when going away (fyi tried lots of different fast chargers I had lying around the house).

Fake. Not a troll or giving bad review. Switch has video but no audio. S8 Plus just charges but no video or dex. Just try another brand. Waiting for my refund now. Sad, as it looks good on paper and I rather it work then go through the long process of returning it. Also the price tag is higher than the others so I expected it to work. I tried all their instructions as on the main page and the YouTube video.

shame that zero stars is not an option. Doesn’t work with switch. Get no video AT ALL.
