Zach King: My Magical Life

My son is severely dyslexic and struggles with reading, because of this, his desire to read is pretty low. However, he really enjoys the YouTube channels of a few folks and Zach King is one of them. Now that they are making a crossover into books, and Zach has made it so creative with animated pictures via the app and a smart phone, I am hoping my son will find the joy in reading that I have always enjoyed. We just started reading the book together and so far, it seems well written and the story is developing well.

The media could not be loaded.  My 9-year-old daughter loved the book. She loves to read, but I could see how it would incentivize a reluctant reader. We love AR! She has to like this stuff because her mom is an AI, AR and VR nerd! Awesome Job. Go get one for every kid you know and that Christmas shopping list just got smaller!

Any Zach King fan will love this book! There's a ton of throwbacks to old videos, plus the story features several of Zach's real-life friends including Aaron and Rachel. Kids will relate to the struggle to fit in at school. Lots of mischief happens, but in the end the book has a great message that "you don't have to be cruel to be cool". Tricia, the villain, really is cruel and manipulative, providing a formidable opponent to the fun-loving main characters. Recommended for readers of all ages!

The app that goes with this book is incredible! My kid loves it and he never pays attention to the books I buy for him. The characters and scenes truly come to life. The book itself and on it's own is a wonderful and exciting read but the app keeps this young reader engaged in a way I have never seen before! I can't wait for the next one.

Zach King has done it again! He has delighted families with his videos and "magic" for years and now has brought it to book form! Each page makes you want more, entertainment throughout. Such fun as you read the comics and use the free app for pictures to come alive. The story has a precious lesson too. Well done Zach! Great gift for any child in your life!

So "magical", my kids loved all of the animated scenes in this book. I was fascinated by them too! And the best part, the story is excellent as well. My 11 y.o. read it in 2 days, said she couldn't put it down (she is an avid reader but picky about the books she'll read, so I was surprised). And then my 9 y.o. did the same thing. They both loved it!

My four year old son loves Zach King. I wasn't sure if he would like such a big book or that he would be able to use it on his own, but he LOVES this book. He is always laughing while he watches the pictures and I must say that it is really neat. The only thing that would make me love this book more is if it was spiral bound so it was easier to hold the book open and the phone at the same time. We are looking forward to the next book to be released!!

My son really loved this book, he would like to read all of them. With the app it is very cool, interesting and catchy link between a real book and any electronic device. Go for the next one :)

I got it for myself first and then started giving it as gifts to all my friends - great concept! Good fun for not only kids but also grown ups
