I would flip them inside out and wash on a very low setting. The writing on the straps comes off fairly easily and one of the rings popped off on mine, but I was able to put it back easily. Just something to be aware of, I suppose.

That depends on your hieght I am 5'10" and 160 pounds with a 34 waist and I got a large ,they fit perfect so for you I would think a large might work but you might have to use the drawstring but if you happen to be taller then that I'd go for a size bigger it also go by length
