Happy with this purchase. My 130 Great Dane got the zoomies and headed full throttle at me. Broke my right ankle which required surgery. This foot/ankle ice pack works well. One side is soft velour material; the other side slick material but not plastic. It freezes well but is still flexible. It has 3 Velcro straps, 1 around the foot, 1 around the ankle and the other slightly above the ankle. I use the velour side to wrap my ankle but also wear a sock and use a towel on my leg so I won’t get freezer burn. The slick side, when this is frozen, is unbearable for me even when wearing the sock and a towel. I can use the slick side if I put this in the refrigerator. It brings the swelling down and helps with the pain. It’s very easy for me to put on by myself without needing help. For size reference I wear a women’s 9 size shoe. It’s $22.99. Well worth it!

I had a trimalleolar ankle fracture with a dislocation and significant swelling that I needed surgery for. Icing was essential to my recovery and this ankle ice wrap is by far the best out there. Very sturdy, comfortable, and well designed. The ice hits all key spots - bottom of my foot and all around the ankle. Very easy to put on and the Velcro straps are strong, easily adjusted, and hold everything in place. Fits almost like a boot with flexibility so it can accommodate all foot sizes and degree of ankle swelling. The gel packs inside are pliable and comfortable, contouring where they need to. I've never needed to go to the deeper cold option by wearing it inside out - the standard way with the softer part facing in was sufficient for me but I do like that you have options of standard and deeper cooling - I think that design feature is clever. I only have one complaint but it didn't lead me to lower my rating - I had ordered the 2-pack so I could tag team the pair but I was only sent one - Amazon kindly reimbursed me for the error and I ultimately did order an extra one. I also find this product to be reasonably priced given the quality of it - price is in line with any brace or higher-end ice pack and it's way better than a bag of frozen peas! Would strongly recommend this product!

This feels better than the 3K contraption they afix to my foot during physical therapy. I use this product and ice twice a day for 15-20 minutes and it's perfect. Covers the entire foot, ankle, and lower leg areas. Broke my ankle in three places, compound fracture. This is magical for my recovery. Thanks to those who engineered this product for an affordable price. Stays cold the entire time. You don't want to ice more than 20 minutes at a time. Only takes a few hours to get cold in freezer. Comes with a plastic bag to keep inside to protect food and the product. Those who leave negative reviews I don't understand why. Can't please everyone I suppose.

Nice product with all the comforts you'd expect. It takes this one piece sleeve 4-6 hours to freeze and 30 min. to thaw entirely. It gets cold but not cold enough in my experience. It comes with a protective pouch, is confortable and the price was good.

Mobilize my fractured foot. Very cold. Feels like frozen gel which can be pushed into a good comfortable position. Fit true to your foot size. Leak proof, very durable. The straps wrap all the way around your foot to keep it in place.

If you have a sprain or broken ankle , or any discomfort in that area, do your self a favor and get this ice pack. I’m a size 8.5 woman shoe size and it covers all the areas that’s needed for pain relief, this is my second surgery on my ankle area and ice is your best friend in this situation, this ice pack is easy to put on, as I mentioned before , covers the area’s icing is needed, feels sturdy and durable, flexible and comfortable to wear with the inner lining, it gives you the cushion so the sensitive irritated skin, so it won’t hurt with the cold, holds cold for good amount of time, again fits great for my needs. Definitely recommend this.

These are cold and comfortable and seem to work great for my sprained ankle! I’ve tried many other ice packs and none of them really worked or stayed on or gave me the cold in the correct area. These are perfect for my strained ankle and are putting the cold right where it needs to be and consistently! Can control the amount of pressure to your comfort. Great product!

First, it’s heavy but fits the leg good. So might need another hand to get it fit to foot. Bad thing is it leaks water fromThe condensation and you see water drops on the floor or carpet. You need to take care of putting something under the foot.
