• excellent for close to wall and rigid mounting!i used to make "french cleats" for mounting by cutting strips of plywood on a 45° angle and mount the one facing down on the frame and the other facing up on the wall to hang stuff... (see image below) ...and, i never thought of any other way, until seeing these clips! ...and now, the "french cleat" labor is a bit of a thing of the past, thanks to these Z-Clips!• they are a great idea, a real labor saver, and a good quality, well-made product!and, they will save me a lot of time and energy customizing french cleat mounting brackets with the plywood, and, now, i will likely only make them for heavy duty or unique jobs where the z-clip is not practical...very pleased, Thank you!

I bought this item to hang a 10ft entertainment center I built for my cave. It was exactly what I needed. It seemed to hug the wall better than others I researched. I ended up cutting it in half to spread the cleat out over the piece of furniture.It was easy to drill through to hit the stud if it didn't already align with a hole it came with.

Five stars for the z-rail product, minus one star for no hardware to mount cabinets with! I use stainless steel 10-32 Everbilt screws, spring washers and locknuts to mount four NewAge garage cabinets on drywall in my garage. Incredibly easy to mount cabinets using the z-rail method.

I have a thickness planer whose exit port frequently got jammed up with chips and dust. Disassembling the back end of the machine to remove the clog was involved and time-consuming. I used a couple of these Z-clips to hold the bottom edge of the port securely, and a SamIdea Box Chest Case Spring Loaded Draw Toggle Latch to clamp the top surface. I can now remove the exit port in about two seconds. These z-clips were absolutely perfect for the job, and I have a bunch of them (and one toggle latch) left over for future projects.

Very well made however thought it would have a male/female grove to help lock the two half's together.

I had a heavy piece of cast metal crown molding from an old building. It worked great!

Very stable and easy to install

I needed something to hang my products with so they would not swing back and forth when bumped. these Z-Clips are perfect, it hangs flush and straight, I added some small screws to the side to prevent it sliding off the bottom clip to be 100% secure. These are much more cost effective and easier to use than other styles of flush mount systems. I will definitely buy again.There were no issues with shipping or purchase, what you see is what you get!

Nicely milled aluminium product - really allows you to mount some heavy duty fittings e.g. heavy pictures, mirrors etc... flush to the wall. Shame about the high delivery costs as has to be shipped from the US
