Codenames: Duet

We bought this to include in a wedding gift for friends because it's a great game for couples and fun way to learn how each other thinks! My husband and I own it and love it. It's fun and has a "map" to try to accomplish the challenges to make it more difficult. We love that you can play with 2 people, but can do more if you want. Not really a big group or anything - it's best with just 2 or 4.

Absolutely recommend this game for couples that want a game night for 2. It is easy to set up, easy to learn by reading directions or finding a YouTube Video to watch how to play, and is a quick 15 minute round game. Also very high quality for the price.

My family and I have been long-time fans of the original Codenames game. It is a great group game that causes you to think outside of the box and make connections. A lot of the appeal is having a group of people all arguing about what is going on inside one person's head. Unfortunately, the original Codenames cannot be played with just two people. My partner and I bought Codenames: Duet because we wanted a game that we could play by ourselves, and we also wanted a less competitive version of the original game that we could play with new people that we didn't know as well. This game accomplished both of those tasks. It is enjoyable to play with just two people and the fact that we are on the same team is fun. It is a little more complicated than the original game, but if you are familiar with the original game, Duet is still very understandable. If you don't know the original game, it might be a little harder to understand at first. I do think the original is more fun, but Duet is still a fun way to play the game. If you are looking for a very cooperative game experience that you can play with two people and that can be played multiple times without feeling too repetitive, this is a good game for you.

Bought this for a gift for my daughter and her husband and they were very excited! It’s a great game to be able to play with just the 2 of you. The regular codenames game is great to play with other people too! Nice strategy game

Codenames Duett ist spannend, clever und macht auch nach mehreren Runden noch Spaß. Die kooperative Variante funktioniert hervorragend und erfordert gutes Zusammenspiel und Kommunikation.
