These are great!
Getting keys with fobs is a very costly endeavor. As long as you have two working fobs, you can quickly and easily program another one (or two) so you have some on backup. I like to have keys on backup and once in awhile, I do lose my keys, meaning it is good that I have backups. These are extremely economical!! The hardest part is finding someone who will cut the keys for you The first time I got these, Home Depot cut them for free. This last time, they would not, neither would Walmart, and actual key places were quoting me $60 to cut the key. I finally found Ace Hardware would cut them for me for free, since I am not buying their keys, so I got them all cut. The key works great, they are easy to program (but tedious), and now I have working extras. One of the keys I ordered does not work as a FOB, but that is actually okay with me because I can take it with me when security is an issue and I just need a key to get back into my van. If someone stole my key, they could walk around with the FOB until my van reacted, then drive off. I think I might get some more soon, just for backups sake.UPDATE: I got for FOBs this time and took them to a Dodge dealership to program because the dealership said they could not order blanks. For one service charge ($110), they cut and programmed all four FOBs for me. However, when I programmed them it just programmed the chip; when the dealership programs it, they also program the door and trunk buttons. For the first time in a LONG time, I have full use of my remotes again.

Just What I needed for the Jeep
The key shafts had broken out of old key-fob, due to poor design, being held to a piece of plastic by two tiny screws and not reparable.I got these two key-fobs, had the keys cut to match the old keys, popped open the new fobs and swapped out the circuit boards. Piece of cake! No muss, no fuss, and NO Programming. New Fobs with then new batteries and my old circuit boards worked perfectly, first time. Until now, I have not had two working key-fobs in years. Excellent!

Frustrated so far ~
Got two of these after we temporarily lost one of the two originals and decided that we wanted a spare, and the per-key price for two spares was attractive.Ace Hardware had a hard time cutting these keys, but they conceded the issue was with their machine, not the keys. They fit the lock and the ignition switch fine. Now to program them. I kept the instructions in front of me on my iPad and followed them to the letter on the first new key. The van responded with the expected light-winks and beeps and I had every expectation the door locks and sliding doors would respond.Nope. Nothing.Okay, start all over and do the routine again. Same result. And again. And again.Maybe the battery is bad, and I have spares. Nope, voltmeter shows fine. Maybe I have the battery installed upside down. NOTE: maybe I missed it (hey, I’m 73) but I could find nowhere any indication of which side is up. So I tried both ways. Nope. Tried all the preceding with the second new key. Nope. There is an unsecured piece of plastic that transmits key button pushes to the gizzards of the device. I put it back in (it fell out repeatedly) in what seemed to me the correct way. Perhaps I’m wrong, so I haven’t given up.But it’s dark outside now. Maybe it will be better in the morning, after a cup of coffee.Things usually are.

Works great, but...
These keys work fine when you can get them to work. I was able to program the keys myself, however, I had two keys out of four that didn't work, but they sent me replacements.

Worked for 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan
Needed to get the ignition code and PIN number to get these programmed - and if you don’t have that you’ll need to get it from the Dodge dealership. After that, the locksmith finished coding it for us. This was our 2nd purchase. Much better than the $400+ quote from the dealership.

Get keys cut and program yourself.
I bought this for my sons 2007 Jeep Liberty. I paid $ 30.00 to get these keys cut then programmed them myself. Very easy and cheaper than Mopar. I would buy again.

Good price, remotes are great quality. Took them to the local dealer and had them cut and programmed for my 2005 Jeep Liberty. Saved me a lot of money and it’s nice having a key fob again.
