This design is ideal for targeting bass in deeper water, or in the shallows when winds pick up and you need extra weight to keep your jig on the bottom. These jigs were originally designed to land trophy bass in Mexico's Lake Baccarac, therefore it was named after this famous body of water. The jighead features a wide, rounded top that makes it wobble over rock like a football jig, while the flat bottom allows it to stand upright when at rest.
