Microbiology for Health Careers 6th Edition

Why teachers are still using this book, I'm not sure. It dates back to 1997 and a lot of it is not relevant to current aseptic practices. Chapter content does not jibe with chapter or section reviews in a lot of places so you're left scratching your head wondering why you don't know or understand the answers to the questions. It's almost like two people learned the same information and one person wrote the content and the other wrote the questions and neither bothered to checked to see if they made sense together.

This book goes for $100 at the school bookstore used. I got it for $1.50! It had lots of writing but all used textbooks have lots of writing in them. I was lucky and it was all in pencil. I received the book one day before the earliest estimated date of arrival. Very happy with my purchase.

I had to get this book for a class, opted to buy it here. There were a lot of spelling errors and quite a few wrong definitions. The text in the book was generally right, but the definitions in the back didn’t match what the book said. I had to do extra work to find the correct answer to a lot of questions.

When I received this book, it was in great condition and was the perfect fit for my learning!

I got this book for a required class. It is an easy to read and understand micro book. It would be a good idea to read it even if you're not in the medical field. It will tell you a lot about practical things you can use in everyday life. Very interesting.
