poca intensidad para mi gusto, pero cumple excelentemente su función,,, solo que yo necesitaba un poco mas de potencia en la luz,,, pero para lampara de noche en la habitación o el baño esta perfecta,,, solo que no abarca un area muy grande para mi gusto,,, pero esta excelente y de muy buena calidad

I really like the color options. Very nice variety of brightnesses too. Makes an excellent dim night light and also can be used on the brighter colors to light your way through the house at night if you don't want to turn the overheads on. Especially excellent in bathrooms in the middle of the night. Can also be used as ambient lighting when just chilling out. The only thing I would change is offer a way to dim or brighten each color. Some colors are just brighter than others and they may not be the color you prefer. But I would still buy more, they're great.

This is a pretty great night light, I like that you can change the colors to whatever color you want, it has a nice glow to it and my kids really appreciate it because they are afraid of the dark. I like it also because it auto detects whether you have a light on or not so once it's dark it automatically turns itself on.

GE Color-Changing LED Night Light 8-color (50860) works as it is described. The colors are nice, the rotation of colors is nice and smooth. I have this plugged in a room I may infrequently go in just to grab a drink out of a secondary refrigerator. So, I don't really need a main light, but this is great to have on. The illumination can fill up to about a 15' x 15' area on the bright colors. [Note: if you put your arms out, you're around 6 foot across.] It is well enough to distinguish colors of a shirt (depending on the color) about six feet away from the light. Yellow, Green, Turquoise, Blue and Purple all give you the distance. Red is a great set for the nightlight for light sleepers, as it only glows about a foot or two away. The bright white is not part of the rotation, but is a decent light 'cool' white on the stationary setting. Full rotation is about 30-35 seconds to cycle thru all the colors. If you have kids sharing a room or maybe your spouse is a light sleeper, red should work. Again, it has a very low spectrum and radius. Another idea for use would be (as an adult) to stick it on an extension plug and place it under your bed or under a nightstand for those middle of the night trips to the bathroom. (Just remember to keep the strip cleaned off as it would accumulate dust fairly easily.) Finally, mine came shipped in a box, with each bubble-wrapped individually.
