Great pots for violets!
I love these pots and so do my violets. They are so easy to lift the inner pot out and water weekly and the violets are triving!

For the price they're OK.
The pots themselves are great. Good size, they look nice, and because the inner pot has a lip it's easy to remove from the outer pot. It sits over the edge just a little so you can grab it. A lot of other pots are difficult to use because of that. I would give 5 stars if not for the design flaw in the water level indicators. I had to get an order replacement because a pot came with a broken corner, so I've tried 12 of these water indicators, ALL 12 had the same problem. The styrofoam floatation device should be a round ball so it cannot get stuck on the inside of the tube. These are elongated and have a plastic piece around them, and as the water raises they get stuck inside the longer plastic tube. To ensure it's measuring properly I have to pick up and drop the indicator every time I want to check the water level. After a few times it shows an accurate reading. Kind of a bummer, but otherwise these are great. For the price I'm happy with the purchase. If you want a zero effort self watering pot, you'll have a pay a little more.

Prevents over watering!
I love these self watering pots with the water gage. Perfect for a person new to plants. Greatly helps to prevent over watering because you can see it. My plants are doing great. Easy to assemble. No malfunctioning of the gage so far. Will definitely buy as needed.

leaves grew against the tube with indicator that contained the indicator rendering it useleless.
disappointed in the watering system, the leaves grew against the tube pushing it on its side. Took the tube off, lift up the leaves and water when the leave looks droopy.

Yery nice pots. Good quality. Very handy to water!! I put a layer of river stones on the bottom then the soil. 2 weeks after the plants are already soaking up the water. I highly recommend the pots and company.
