SperryMen's Gold Cup Authentic Original 2-Eye Boat Shoe

I forgot how much of a pleasure, and how comfortable these are. I used to have a pair years ago that eventually fell apart. The price had kept me from buying a new pair for a while, but I'm glad I finally did. The leather is so soft and flexible, the shoe is so comfortable I wish I could wear them all the time, but they are the perfect shoe for the weekend and summer.

Very nice. I wasn’t sure about the size. I was thinking about sizing up a half size. But then my dogs or dog eat the shoe before I could even get it out and try it on again. He took it right out of the box on a lower shelf.

I’ve heard so many say the Gold Cups were superior to other Sperry’s, so I was excited to buy my first pair.Very soft upper and insole. Fits a bit tighter than my standard 2-eye Authentic Originals A/O, but I’m sure they’ll loosen up with first wear.

Have bought Sperry shoes for a long time - never disappoints.

I bought these Sperry shoes to replace an old pair of about 8 yrs. I’ve had several classic Sperry boat shoes over the years but this is my first Gold Cup model and, by far, the best. I like that is more comfortable because it has better cushion overall, especially on the front half of the foot. Would definitely buy the Gold Cup model again.

Got a lot of compliments on these. Wire these on the boat. Kept my feet warm and had good grip.

I’m not sure what the change is, but the quality of these shoes have taken a nose dive. The leather was rough (more akin to a mottled suede.). Sperry replaced them with the less expensive make of boat shoes but these are falling apart. The linings in both shoes have already fallen out. I’ve worn these for years but this will certainly be the last time.

I really wanted to like these shoes. I tried 9M first but they were narrow and long. Then I tried 8.5W but they were still too narrow. I returned the both pairs.
