Study Guide/Solutions Manual for Organic Chemistry

Organic chemistry is very difficult. This book has saved me in organic! I use it to check my answers when the professor isn’t available on the homework and practice problems.

A definite must have if you want to pass O Chem. Sometimes questions in the textbook are worded kind of funny but the answers do a pretty good job of explaining things.I am knocking a star off because the book costs so darn much; seriously, textbook companies are making a killing off of us students these days.

Seriously a life-saver. This solutions manual is a must-have if you're taking an organic chemistry course with the corresponding text book. A lot of the times, I can't be sure I'm doing the problems in the book correctly, so this really comes in handy. Don't get me wrong, I'm kind of irritated the textbook didn't come with answers to at least the odd problems, but this book this book is great. As far as shipping goes, I got it in two days with prime, as usual 👌

I love that there is a book with all the solutions as ochem can get tricky, but I wish there was more of a walk through for problems, explaining the rational for mechanisms, etc.,

I was absolutely in love with this manual (The material is wonderful and so helpful while studying)... until I reached Chapter 7 today while studying and realized that the chapter outline page that comes before each chapter's solutions was missing. I'm frustrated because these were the pages that were assisting me the most during my review and studying. Now I am missing vital information because the previous owner felt the need to remove pages from the book, and the seller didn't think to check for this before selling.

Amazing, book gives detailed explanations, chapter outlines and practice exams. Well written. By far the best organic chem answer book I read. It also has perforations so you can perforate the chapter key that you are studying and take it with you. That is a very amazing idea I wish all books did that, so you can easily follow along with questions.

Very good at listing the answers, but there are far too many parts where she skips over the mechanism explaining the answer, and isn't that the point of having the solutions manual?

Should be available as an e-book, the book itself is ok but carrying this hefty tome around with the huge textbook is pretty impossible, and since there are no answers in the back of the text, its pretty annoying to study with, I usually am reduced to sneaking into my job and photocopying the section of the solution guide I need just so I can carry it around. Also lots of errors in the practice tests at the beginning of each section.
