I am diabetic & I miss out on lot of candy. I grew up on this candy before I became diabetic. We use to buy it at the feast in Manhattan, what a wonderful Treat. Then I couldn't eat it anymore. I discovered this on Amazon & tried it. It is GREAT. You can eat this without worrying about sugar. Yes it is hard BUT it is always hard. Of you crack it with a hammer into the size pieces you can handle in your mouth It Does Not Hurt Your Teeth & I have false teeth, it melts & easy to eat. If you're Italian & remember this candy as a kid going to Manhattan Feast then Treat yourself. It's wonderful, a little too much money maybe 12oz would be a great deal. I'm buying more now third time.

Horrible and stale

Great taste without the adverse affects if high sugar.

Delicious… but…. Not like ANY “brittle” candy I have ever had. This treat has fabulous almond flavor but the white stuff between the nuts was more like Marshmallow or what we called “divinity” or nougat. Soft and mushy but in a stretchy way. Yummy, yet I was curious from pictures

It is brittle just like it says, but I really like it. I will order the larger option this time. The ‘paper’ on the outside is, I’m sure, edible.

Did not like the taste

The candy taste good.

I was expecting soft and chewy and this was hard as a rock! I couldn’t even bite it. I threw it on the ground like Christmas rock candy and it shattered. Not what I was looking for!
