Great knowledge source for A500
Great resource on the A500 Mini and in general.Wanted to buy ebook (Kindle or epub) but not available.Quite a few small errors - spelling / grammar (fair enough as author’s native language is not English perhaps), formatting flow etc.Would be good if there was an errata / update page.Bought his C64 ebook as well earlier- with similar issues the DE version was updated to v1.2 but EN wasn’t…

Solid book with a lot of details
I think that the "Hobbyist's Guide to the A500 Mini" is a good and solid introduction to the A500 Mini. Sometimes it does go too much into rather obvious details like the descriptions of the games that are also included in the UI of the device but it is better to mention certain things that might be considered superfluous than to miss out on them. For me the great value is in the last third of the book where the writer goes into expanding the Mini to a full-sized Amiga and describes the Amiga OS.Other readers' mileage may vary, but for me personally the only drawback of the "Hobbyist's Guide" is not available as an eBook (perhaps not available yet).

You should get it if you have an A500 Mini…
Ok, so most of the stuff in here can be found on the ‘net with some effort…BUT it’s already here and in a very convenient reference. Plus there is a wealth of info, so it’s worth the read just because it is interesting. Glad I bought it and would get it again…probably will if I gift an A500 Mini to someone!
