Sound Great!
This is the first set of String Joys I've put on my Taylor 614CE. It won't be the last. They're the best sounding strings I've used to date. Make playing even more joyful.

Dead Low E String Right Out of the Gate
Strings seemed fine upon the first few practice sessions. Then the low E string just went dead. I have no complaints for the other strings, but this makes the pack useless. $18 in the garbage after 3 days. I am going back to Elixir. Taylor 812ce for reference.

The Hype is Legit
Can’t say enough about these string. Have an Epiphone Texan and I’ve struggled to find a smooth, comfortable set. Have SJs on several of my guitars. Not a big ‘coated strings’ guy. These immediately fel light a bright under my fingers. I’m even getting harmonics on single notes. Have ordered sets for each of my other acoustics. Very pleased with purchase.

Superior sound
I put a set of the extra light phosphor bronze strings on my Martin guitar and I don't ever remember my guitar sounding as sweet as it does right now. There was an issue where the high E string broke while I restringing the guitar which was strange because I had just made sure the string was taut before I got ready to restring the B string. I immediately got a hold of Stringjoys customer service department, explained what had happened, and they sent me a new string right away, free of charge and no questions asked. With the great sound I'm getting from my guitar, and the awesome customer service I received for my broken string, Stringjoys are the only strings I'll be using from now on.

not the greatest
usually i don’t leave reviews on here but these are the worst strings i’ve ever put on, i’ve had to replace two of them because they were too flimsy and snapped while playing or adjusting them. i give it two stars cause it doesn’t sound horrible when fingerpicking but if you try to strum it just sounds off, but worst of all and this is unforgivable, the strings buzz at the headstock, i have no clue why i’ve restrung them multiple times and no matter what they will give a slight buzzing at the head and it drives me crazy and i’ve put about 10 hours of playing into them hoping to wear them in but it never happened and im writing this after having to replace a third string. for being the most expensive strings i’ve ever tried i’m pretty disappointed and wouldn’t recommend these to anyone just stick with the classics, they’re tried and true

My sister loves them
My sister plays and sings, mostly gospel music. I bought her these strings because she was going to a competition in Branson and I wanted her to try them. She had them on the guitar for a few weeks before performing there, and has been quite happy with them.
