Excellent quality
Very solid and well designed and price is much better than the competition. Lid holds a stick of butter. There is a water fill line so you know how much to fill it. It works - the butter doesn't get rancid after sitting out for a few days, but I have to admit that we've started using so much butter lately due to how nice and spreadable it is, lol, I'm not sure that we've really put it to a truly rigorous test.

Where has this been for all of my life
These are amazing!!! The butter is ALWAYS at the perfect temperature. And always fresh tasting. What a great idea only a little small for a family so I bought another!

Just okay
I enjoy this product however it is incredibly hard to use. You have to pull it out at just the right angle or it gets stuck - maybe due to ceramic not being symmetrical or what but very frustrating

It’s a great, but old fashioned concept. We gave it a try and we like it. No instructions included, so look for an instructional video online.

Leaks…
Given the ratings I am sure this didn’t happen to most, but mine leaked in the first use. There are no visible cracks, but it assuredly doesn’t hold water. There is the option to return but the hassle doesn’t seem worth it. Just going to refrigerate and use the butter as I normally would and then toss.
