I have a heavy chewer so he went to town on this. He did damage it pretty quickly and I took it away to feel for splinters. As advertised when I felt it I did not get any splinters that could hurt them. The only toys that survive with him are the 100% nylon and this will last a lot longer than any of the non-nylon toys. Both my pups love to play with this, though you will have to clean up wood chips after if you have a heavy chewer like me. When they're done with this one I plan to get more.

I previously bought from a “local shop” what I thought was this brand. The one from the local did NOT splinter. I bought 3 total of these from Amazon. The first one splintered…which made me wonder…was this just a faulty stick or is it all of them….? Well my fur-babes were desperate for some new chews so I gave it a shot and ordered 2 more (one each dog) and low and behold….sooooo many splinters! So many they stuck to everything & even stuck weeks later in my pups tummy (came out whole!) I’m very disappointed! If I could give zero stars I would unfortunately! I wanted to love these so bad but they failed.

This is the second time I bought this coffee stick for my lab. He's a super chewer and this held up nicely. I like that it crumbles away instead of splintering and he doesn't seem to ingest much. It does make a bit of a mess. I will probably buy again, probably next time in the extra large size.

The media could not be loaded. These sticks are a great alternative to stick chewers. They are a soft pressed wood that doesn’t seem to splinter and last a long time. My 2 dogs love them

I will admit I use to be the bad dog owner that would give her dogs rawhides and normal bones but a few years ago we switched out to the coffeewood chews and I would never turn back.This purchase was a Christmas present for one of my friends dog and she absolutely loves it and has been carrying it around the house all the time.Yes it can be a bit more pricer than other chew options but this will be something that lasts forever for you. Some of the chews in my house have been loved on for 3+ years and are still going (and we have 4 dogs plus many foster dog visits if that shows anything)Your dog definitely won’t be disappointed.

To bad my dog hated it. I should have known that. She’s a beautiful black Lab. A rescue dog that won’t eat anything but REAL FOOD!

Just got the chew this morning, was very excited to see how it would help with his chewing. Hes a 1 yo lab. It literally lasted 10 minutes. He broke off a huge splinter. He almost split it into two pieces. Maybe a bad piece, dried out too much? but understanding its a stick. Just would have liked it to do what they said it would.

Ordered two extra large chew sticks and got only one. Other one much much smaller.
