Yes, they do and I love them! Bought two pairs to have one extra on hand.

Q: Are these slip resistant?

I still have the box mine came in, and it says slip resistant. I work in a restaurant that requires we wear non slip shoes, and these are approved. Hope this helps.

Q: Are these okay to use for the gym (treadmill and calisthenics)?

it's a great shoe to wear for a limited time and yes for treadmill. However, after several hours of wear, your feet are completely drenched/water logged :/

Q: Are these actually called “food service?”

They are actually food service non slip. I wear them and they are the most comfortable to me. I got thru 4 pairs a year with how much I am on my feet at work.
