Used other products from this company and never disappointed. This product does as it claims. Works great is styling my hear and hold it well in place. I would recommend this product to those looking for a something that holds the hair in place and yet keeps a natural look.

I would recommend for shorter to medium length straight hair. For my needs (4-5in hair) the hold is lighter than the texture extreme hold clay. Consistent is more pasty than clay like. Scooping it and applying it is much easier than the extreme hold. Again I would need to use it much more than the extreme hold for my needs. I WOULD recommend this as a pre-styler tho for towel dried hair than blow dry with a hair dryer. Scent (florals) is a bit stronger than the extreme hold just FYI.

I have tried many products like hanz de fuko, but this has to be the best hair clay product. Easy to apply. Easy to remove and smells great!

I really like it, I had just gotten this product a few days before getting a haircut. When I used this after blow drying my hair, it worked really well. It didn’t feel good for a few minutes but slowly softened but the hair didn’t move even when I shook it, so I’d say it works amazingly. And it also makes an amazing dry shine look.

I typically buy HWG Light Hold Paste or Medium Hold Clay. Unfortunately, they are both constantly sold out so I am in search of an alternative. Sadly, this stuff is not the answer. Leaves my hair feeling stiff... Like 80's gel days stiff. Not the most workable product either. On a positive note, it does smell pretty good.

Amazing and confort

I was an early adopter of the Forte Texture Clay when it was first released. Not only was it the best hair product I had ever used, but at 3.4oz, it was also the best value! Of course that couldn't last and Forte conformed to the 2.5oz, but the price stayed the same, which was a real disappointment. Recently, I tried to purchase more of the Texture Clay Extreme Hold and it was unavailable, so I referenced the Forte website and on their product comparison page, the 'Control Clay' was described as being almost exactly the same as the original Texture Clay, just easier to apply! ABSOLUTELY UNTRUE!! The 'Control Clay' is worthless, and absolutely NOTHING like the OG Texture Clay Extreme Hold. It doesn't provide the same hold, texture, look, or longevity. The product doesn't stay with you for a few hours, let alone throughout the entire day, and offers no re-styleability . The ONLY thing I considered to be accurate was that it was easier to apply and wash out. I have tried all the major players in this realm; Reuzel, Layrite, BedHead, Dove, Garnier, Suavecito, Murray's, Crew, etc...etc... and ANY ONE of the aforementioned products are better, with the exception of Garnier, which is almost a direct comparison to the Control Clay. Forte Texture Clay Extreme Hold and Layrite Matte Cream are best for intended look, which is exactly like the original Alex Costa video showing the Texture Clay Extreme Hold application. Forte Texture Clay Extreme Hold is back in stock, I bought it immediately, and returned the new Control Clay, which I will never use again, and couldn't envision a hair style, or type, that would make useful. Stay away boys(and girls :)).
