Good quality product, but bit expensive
I need to buy this to replace my failed UVMax C, which I can't find the electronic any more. The installation was straight forward and working. The product quality is high. The only downside is it is a bit expensive.

Seems to do the job very well
I installed this on my shallow well system at my house in the Bahamas. Before installing, my water testing (via simple kit purchased on Amazon) showed coliform a e coli. We did a bleach treatment on the well (about 2 cups of bleach) and then ran about 200-300 gallons of water through the system over about a week with the UV unit turned on. We also installed a 30 micron filter (I am planning to install a 2nd finer filter but the hardware was not available). The test now shows no bacteria but will test again after a couple of months. Installation of the unit was easy. All we had to do was mount the power unit and the uv unit on the wall and make the plumbing hookups

Horrible
The interior box looks like it was run over by a truck! Was obviously sent like that because the outside box didn’t have a scratch on it. Tour apart, retaped and sent along with someone else’s name written all over the box. Pretty obvious that it was sold and returned. Would think, would the price of this, it would be a bit more professional!

Didn't last long
Although I bought it 3 years ago, it wasn't installed until 6 months later. The controller died after only 2 years - not impressed.
