Great product!
Surprisingly great for its price!

Produces a decent fine grind. Reasonably quiet as well.
Returned a different, slightly cheaper, grinder in exchange for this. The ground coffee holder is a bit fiddly to get in and out so 4 stars. But, otherwise, good.

OK, but could be better
This coffee grinder does grind the beans to a consistent quality, but I've knocked off a couple of stars because it's a bit tricky to use. In particular, placing the grounds container on the machine and removing it requires some force to engage/disengage from the rubber sealing ring under the burrs and I have my doubts as to how long the rubber sealer will last, given the friction/stress between it and the top of the container lid. That could have easily been improved by only having the raised lip (around the edge of the base) at the sides and rear, instead of all the way round, thereby allowing the container to be pushed into position without it being raised up due to the raised lip. The other thing that is not as easy as it sounds is trying to prevent the grounds from ending up stuck to the outside of the machine or on the worktop as they are statically charged (particularly with finer grind sizes as the particles are smaller and lighter, so are more prone to end up where you wouldn't want them to be). My workaround for that is to leave the grounds in the machine's container for about 30 minutes or so, before attempting to transfer them to another container, but sometimes extra grounds fall out from the burrs when removing the container, so if I remember, I usually rock or tap the machine a few times with my hand to try to shake out any remaining gounds, before attempting to remove the container. Overall then, a bit of a faff and I'm not 100% sure whether all this fuss is worth it. I may decide to send it back and just buy ready-ground coffee beans, but the jury is still out at the moment.

Excellent Value Great Performance
Bought this along with my first espresso machine. Chose it because it had good reviews and was one of the cheapest electric grinders. Been very impressed with apparently build quality and performance. Easy to use and great companion appliance for espresso machine.Likes- price, feels sturdy, easy to use, easily controlled grind size, grind duration control a nice feature, coarse grind for cafetière and fine grind for espressoDislikes- only one the grind container fits into the machine by displacing a flexible rubber seal, as a consequence it takes quite a bit of force to install and remove the container, to get round this I grind the coffee without the lid on the container

Much better than I was expecting
There weren't any reviews other than paid (free item) ones when I got this. I took a gamble that they were still honest reviews.I had to wait some time before I was able to use this but I gave it an immediate visual inspection. Being 100% honest there were a few niggles, the stainless steel casing doesn't perfectly fit the machine frame, but it's so minor it can only be seen close up. The collection jar is awkward to get in and out. There was a slight blemish on the hopper but again can't really see it.In terms of performance and use it's actually great, nice bean sizing selector that seems accurate, lots of capacity and very simple to use. That tight fitting collection jar actually does a great job of ensuring no mess is made.Overall really happy with the item.

Excellent Burr grinder for the money
This product is identical to Gaggia RI8123/01 Coffee Grinder MD15 which was more than double the price when I purchased this. If you look up the instruction manual on google it is far better than the one supplied. My neighbor has the Gaggia and everything except the name is identical we even swapped the burrs over to confirm this. So well worth buying. I have found that Decaffeinated beans are more gooey than normal beans when grinding but this is also the case when using my old hand grinder. For info the grind size knob on the side settings are 1 is very Fine 15 is Very Coarse not .very well explained in the leaflet.
