Great quality fun game
These games are the best for really young kids! We love the wooden pieces and high quality product overall and they’re lots of fun for the youngest board gamers.

Great game for building speech.
This is a GREAT game for little kids! Helps build memory skills, name recognition, distinguish between types of questions, and develop speech. Has two different games, your child practices recognizing and naming different animals, plants, and discuss anything else they can find in the forest. For the memory aspect the players try to keep track of where the forest friends are hiding so Mia Mouse can find her friends. The game is made from sturdy cardboard and wood. The gameboard is detailed, has a 3D set up that transforms the pieces into a forest with peepholes so your child can discover who/what is hiding in the forest using peepholes. Comes with a list of questions to help guide parents through the game and inspire you to come up with additional questions. As a parent who's three-year-old did six months of speech, this game is very helpful in aiding parents in helping build their child's vocabulary and listening skills as they work through understanding how they are supposed to answer different questions (who, what, where).

Like the idea
It is a fun game. Kids love hide and seek games and the cards added challenge for continued play. It did require finding a space or a way to provide enough overhead light so the inside of the box can be seen. Maybe it needed more or bigger holes on the top.

Need a very bright room
I actually found this game to be a little difficult to set up. The Hide and Seek part is cute but to see the animals hidden in the holes you really need to be in a very bright room. My students seemed to loose interest rather quickly after one round of searching. It’s an expensive game and I’m not sure its worth the price tag.

Don’t waste your money
We are a huge game family, and I’m always looking for good family games. Haba usually has some good options. This is not one of them. Both kids lost interest in 2 mins.

Real Forest Experience!!
The media could not be loaded. This game was very easy to set up and play. The 3D effect is like nothing we have played before and the kids were super excited.Game play is very easy and there are different ways to play. All the material is very sturdy and won't bend or break easily. The stars and mouse are made of wood. There are so many ways to learn about the forest using this game. So it can be played many times as you teach things such as; What's in the forest, forest animals, animal tracks, forest sounds, memory skills, and more.Great addition to our homeschool.

Haba is the best
I got this game to play with our grandson. I'm a pretty serious board gamer and he's basically still an infant. How do you bridge that gap? Haba Games.I love that this game is actually two games in one with a little variant offered. The first game is very simple and can be played by children under two with some help. The second game is a little more challenging as it focuses on object permanence and memory. This one, with the variant, can keep the game around for a little while until they are almost ready for the Haba 5+ years line. Haba Games, while a little pricey, are great quality. They will hold up for quite a while. You can then pass them down, pass them on, or trade them away. I think that they are well worth the price. Of course, I have $100 games that have only been played a couple of times. So these are an incredible bargain and spending time gaming with the grandson is priceless.

Cute Hide-and-Seek Game
I ordered this HABA Forest Friends game for my four-year-old who loves playing games. This hide-and-seek-based game is high-quality and easy to learn. The pieces are very sturdy, and the concept is perfect for little ones. There are two variations on this game - the simpler one could be played even with a two-year-old. This does require parent set up and participation. If played in a dimly lit area, a flashlight (or cell phone) might be needed as you must peek in the holes. I personally like that this game avoids plastic pieces.
