We normally use the tiger brand, which we have no issues other than the cost. These are loads cheaper (less than 4p each! @£17.99) slightly harder to light due to the packaging being thicker but if you’re carrying these for a campfire then the thicker packaging is better.You get a large 6” flame for around 5 mins when laid flat. Plenty to get our wood burner going.Don’t think we will need to buy anymore for at least another few years!

The worst firefighters ever. They are tiny and flat and only stay alight less than a minute. Need about 3 to light firefighter sticks

The product is fit for purpose and lights easily. Unfortunately the outer box and inner box were extremely damp making them unusable for storage in - Easily solved by putting them in a plastic box. On a plus note, quantity (500) was as described (I counted them due to reading negative reviews on this issue). 4 stars due to dampness.

If you are looking for a great value for money product then these are excellent firelighters that are not smelly or messy and do a great job in getting ones fire started. I was sceptical at first until I tried them and now I will not be going back to using my previous firelighters. I highly recommend this product.

I was keen to try these given the price point. Unfortunately, they don't compare to similar products that look the same. The plastic on these seems to be much thicker, and they didn't light all that easily. I tried a fire in the stove with a couple of these, and I had to go back and relight them. As a result, I returned them

They don't burn for long, if you can get them to light. Takes so many to actually get a fire going its ridiculous. Don't waste your money.
