ALTRAMen's Mont Blanc Trail Running Shoe

The best features of all Altra shoes is zero drop and a wider / natural toe box. The Mont Blanc is a great trail shoe that has additional cushioning, but it is lighter than the Olympus. Great shoe. I just received my second pair.

For some reason the tongue on this pair was too short. That is the reason why I returned them. Otherwise, I have owned twelve pairs of Altra shoes over the past few years and am impressed with the brand!GregTGreenville SC

Love them. Took used to getting the lace tension right to avoid pinching the ankles but it’s a light all around great trail running shoe.

I’ve owned Altra shoes for about 4 years now. Lone Peak and Tornin. After seeing the Mont Blanc I was in love with the design and the blue color.Performance wise, I was very disappointed and dissatisfied with the feel and stability of it. The Tongue of the shoe is way too short. It just doesn’t feel like an Altra Design.

They have several different areas that the tread is separating from the sole. I've worn them about 15 times. I have asked for a replacement and I am still waiting for them. It's been a week now.

Me parece horrible que después de una tercera vez utilizándolas y no más de 90 km (entre las tres veces utilizadas) la suela comience a despegarse. Llevo años utilizando Altra, este modelo me había encantado en sus dos primeros usos, pero post una carrera de 30 km pasa lo que se muestra en la fotografía, como la marca puede responder ante ello?Definitivamente decepcionado de este par. Ahora tengo una carrera a principios de diciembre (70 km) y no sé con qué zapatillas los correré.

A welcome upgrade from my Salomons. I've been running in Altra's for years (road and trail). My last trail shoe was the timp 3 and I wasn't a fan (not durable or as comfy as previous pairs), which bummed me out because I really like all Altra's ive had in the past. I was worried that the quality was declining from that pair but these Mont Blanc's proved me wrong. The foot shape toe box, perfect amount of cushioning, and VIBRAM RUBBER make this my new favorite trail shoe. Sizing was perfect IMO.

Zunächst einmal muß man sagen, daß das Grundkonzept der Fa. ALTRA, die Schuhe mit Null - Sprengung und großer Zehenbox zu bauen, sehr gut ist. Anfangs tragen und laufen sich diese auch hervorragend. Egal ob beim täglichen Tragen, oder auf 5 km Läufen, wie im vorliegenden Fall. Gerade beim Mont Blanc wurde endlich einmal eine Sohle mit Dämpfung verbaut, die auch Waldweg / Trail tauglich ist.Leider ist bei ALTRA die Qualität unterirdisch! Die auf den Bildern gezeigten Schuhe sind ca. 4 Monate alt, und haben eine tatsächliche Laufleistung von ca. 30 - 40km! Kein Witz. Die Mängel im Einzelnen:Die Verklebung der Sohle löst sich im Fersenbereich großflächig auf und ab. Das Material über den Zehen beginnt ebenfalls, sich aufzulösen, indem es "Fäden zieht". Die Sohle, bei der leider nur Fragmente vom sonstigen Marktführer VIBRAM verklebt wurden, zeigt ebenfalls Auflösungserscheinungen. Hier hätte man einfach eine "normale", durchgehende, millionenfach bewährte VIBRAM-Komplettsohle drunter kleben sollen., und alles wäre gut.

La scarpa da Trail che ho sempre cercato. Un grip su tutti i terreni eccezionale, forse non perfetto sulla roccia liscia e umida ma cosa lo è. Non si sentono le asperità e all'interno il confort è incredibile e senza l'aggiunta di solette. Per non parlare dei lacci, finalmente dei lacci che non hanno bisogno del doppio nodo, fantastici. Preciso che ho dei piedi delicatissimi, ma ho trovato queste scarpe confortevoli dal primo utilizzo...amore a prima vista.Esteticamente bellissime. Unico microdifetto non aderiscono perfettamente sotto la caviglia ma basta allacciarle strette. Io generalmente porto un 42,5 e ho preso un 43. Voto 10 e lode!
