Surprisingly good
TLDR if you've got a Samsung smartphone, the cash to spare, and want something with more features and smarter integration than budget earphones I think these are a good buy. Sound quality is great for earbuds.I bought these off the back of many years of using another popular budget to mid range brand. These were significantly more expensive than what I usually get but I wanted to try something different and which hopefully lasts longer. These have really nice integration with my phone and a bunch of extra features. I'm particularly fond of the pass through mode which is very clear indoors and on occasion the amplified pass through setting when I'm out walking in a quiet spot and I pause the music and I want to hear what's going on around me without touching my earphones or obviously looking around. This brings me round to the only criticism I have which is although the fit test was a really nice feature I sometimes find them slipping out of position and if I push them back in I activate the play/pause touch function which cannot be remapped. It would be nice to be able to map play/pause to a double tap but sadly you can't do that in the app. Also the noise cancelling and pass through modes only work when you have both earphones in, and personally I tend to prefer only one earphone at a time. I'm still getting used to only gripping them at the very edges and that I don't need to pause first when taking them out as they will usually auto pause when they detect they are not in your ear. Voice detect is nice on paper but I'm not sure it works well enough for me as I'm typically softly spoken. It seems to lower the volume based on how loud you are talking, but for me it can end up in an awkward middle ground if I'm listening to something and start talking to someone then I can't properly hear what the other person is saying and whatever I'm listening to just becomes annoying and I'm aware I'm missing it, so I usually just end up pausing it anyway. If I speak loudly initially it will effectively mute whatever I had been listening to, which is good, but when I start talking softly again the whole exchange just comes across like I was angry at being interrupted or something. In fairness though it is very handy when I'm doing washing up not having to touch my ears. Lastly the battery life is really good, about what I have come to expect from other earphones where on the rare occasions that I have used them for extended periods I seem to get roughly 5 to 6 hours on one earphone at a medium volume (as in I can still clearly hear everything going on around me) and I charge the case maybe once or twice per week. Which while I'm on the subject the case light will shine green, yellow or red depending on how much is left in the battery, which I thought was nice. And the case seems sturdy so hopefully the top won't break off this one!Overall I think these are great so far and I would buy them again if I was looking to spend a bit more money on something good.

I was surprised by these
The packaging of the product feels very premium and the material used for the case especially feels extremely polished and I definitely prefer the look to the AirPods case(s)One thing I will also say is that the shape is very easy to fit the ear and the entire process feels seamless, I prefer that there is no stem as It feels like the product has a better design and for those who are unaware, these earbuds have an extremely high water resistance rating which allows me to wear these whilst in the shower. The audio quality is even better than I expected, Samsung owns the company responsible for determining the universally best EQ and itās very clear within this product as the sound is incredible for earbuds. not too much base but also great clarity within the audio.I cannot comment on the interface since I donāt have the app due to being an iPhone user, this means that I have no access to all of the configurations that the software provides however I donāt really feel as though I need it. Noise Cancellation is automatically enabled whenever the earphones are initially turned on and in order to toggle transparency mode it is a simple hold of one of the earbuds whilst itās in your ear.I used to own Sony XM4 headphones which had ridiculously great noise cancelling but sold them due to wanting the money back, I found that these earphones whilst (obviously) being less potent in noise cancellation, they still block out a lot of noise especially the low frequency noises such as a fan or humming etc. voices are also quite drastically muffled.I will say though that the noise cancellation is far from perfect and you may be underwhelmed if you were under the impression that these would be able to provide noise cancelling on par with actual ANC headphones. particularly when it comes to higher frequencies such as a shower etc.I am overall extremely happy with the comfort of these earbuds and didnāt even think that earphones could be this comfortable. If youāre looking for quality earphones with good noise cancelling and a great EQ then Iād have to recommend these.I will say however that if you arenāt too bothered with the 15% larger size of the buds2 proās predecessor (i.e., the buds pro), and donāt want better water resistance nor are you bothered too much about noise cancellation, iād probably suggest you get the older version as as far as I can tell, those are the main differences other than more options iām the app for the newer earbuds (which I donāt even have access to regardless)
