Super Light Weight!
When I first pulled this hair dryer out of the packaging, I was shocked! This thing is sooo lightweight! I was taken aback. It does a great job and makes drying my hair a breeze. There are three settings for heat (low, med, high) and three settings for speed (off, low, high). It comes with a concentrator nozzle but no diffuser. Also, the cord is one of the shorter ones I have had with a hair dyer.

Affordable, dries hair quickly, comfortable to hold
Hot Tools is one of my favorite brands of hair appliances. I have never been let down and the appearance of their tools is always so sleek and stylish. This one is no exception! The design is clean, sleek and modern looking. The charcoal color is sleek and the hair dryer feels very smooth & silky to the touch. The hair dryer fits comfortably in my hand and I didn't experience any stiffness or hand fatigue during use. (big issue for me as I have longer hair so it takes me a little longer to dry it all) I felt that it was surprisingly lightweight, too, as many hair dryers are bulky and hefty feeling. My hair is rather fine and long in length so drying can take me quite a bit of time. Spending that much time under the heat, my hair can get a bit frizzy and feel damaged over time. When used too often, my hair can start to feel like straw. Who wants that? I was able to dry my hair much quicker using this hair dryer!!! (taking about 7-8 minutes, on average) I was impressed. It has excellent air flow that really helps me not only dry my hair but tame my frizz as well. I didn't experience any burnt smells, damage, frizz, etc.The settings are very straightforward and easy to understand. There are 3 heat settings (high, medium, low) and 2 speeds (high, low). You can also choose the Cool Shot to help set your style when finished. I normally switch to cool when I have about 85% of my hair dried. The 6 ft cord is a bit on the short side (my previous hair dryer has an 8 ft cord). I was also a bit disappointed that the cord doesn't retract. This is something that I had on my previous hair dryer and I really appreciated not having to deal with a cord when storing it. It tends to get tangled up in everything else under the sink. You get one attachment with the hair dryer, a concentrator for precise styling. I rarely use attachments so doubt it will see much use.Overall, I was quite pleased with the quality of this hair dryer. For the price, you really can't go wrong! It dries hair quickly and is comfortable to hold.

Great hair dryer
I picked this one up based on the reviews - I does what it promises to do. Plus the coating makes it non-slip. I would definitely recommend it.

Even Better Than the Last Model
I wanted to have a second dryer, I've been using the last model of Hot Tools Professional Dryer for the last few months and have been pleased with it. I like this one even more.I'm always skeptical of dryer "technology" claims, but I do think there is something to the Charcoal element, which from what I can tell is the biggest difference between this model and the older one. I do feel it noticeably reduces frizz. I have another round brush dryer that is charcoal infused as well and the same holds true for that one. It's lightweight and comfortable to use, I especially like the cold shot button, on some dryers it takes real effort to hold down, this button is easy and a good size. The other settings are pretty standard--3 heat settings and speed settings. The matte grey finish is nice, it has a kind of soft, rubberized texture. On the highest settings it dries my thick shoulder length hair in 9 minutes, pretty fast for me.I think it's a solid value, for that price I'd recommend it over bigger brands like Conair or Revlon.
