This water dispenser works as expected. It is very economic, boiling only the amount of water you need. It does so speedily and cleanly, too, with few drips or spillage. Furthermore, it is a two-button system. As it says, press once, for 200 ml of hot 95 degrees plus Celsius water. Press twice, and it will continually flow until you press again to stop it. I, personally, find 200 ml to be a bit too little for a perfect for a mug of tea. That is hardly a criticism if you prefer, like me, the machine's simplicity. It will take a standard B15 Brita filter, which is straightforward to fit. Overall, this is a great hot water dispenser and I would recommend it to anyone.

I love this! So much quicker than my old kettle. I have lots of hot drinks throughout the day and I have instant hot water with just a double push (large mug) of a button! I highly recommend this item!

I bought this kettle end of July 23, worked great then the green light started to flash, descaled as instructed, still flashing, can’t reset, thought I’d run lots of water through thinking it would eventually stop flashing, spent about 2hrs running water through and washing out the water container and still flashing green, now it appears to be leaking underneath as well, I have been told if it continues flashing green it is defective, I did love it, I just expect a kettle for £80 to last longer than 7 month, we only use it for 3 coffees a day so it looks like I’m buying a new kettle

We bought this to replace a different model that had reached the end of its useful life. This Ex-Pro model works really well and quickly too. Unlike some other models which transfer the selected volume of water to a hearting compartment, boil it then dispense the entire amount in one go, this machine starts to dispense almost immediately you press the button, heating it as it does. Allowing the stream of boiling water to hit a teabag in a mug gives you a really strong mug of tea as soon as it has finished dispensing! As we are in a hard water area, we bought some B15 filters to fit. Pros of this machine; taste-free water delivered at a selectable range of temperatures from 45 C to 100C, and delivered very quickly. No steam is emitted, unlike a kettle, so it can go under the wall cupboards. It is quite small and neat - an unobtrusive kitchen appliance. The only pre-set volumes selectable are 100, 200, 300 or 400ml. For any other amount, you select 000 and press start. It then dispenses at the set temperature until you press the start/stop button again. That way, you can easily fill a saucepan or other vessel larger than 400ml, or a mug with, say, a capacity of 250ml. It would be nice if it didn't go into 'standby' mode so soon after dispensing - but I understand this is a safety feature. In the 6 weeks I have had this machine, I had to use the 'reset' button on one occasion when it wasn't heating the water, otherwise it has worked flawlessly every time. Highly recommended - you will no longer need a kettle if you get one of these. Later edit Jan 2024: after several months regular use, we are still very happy with the machine. I have amended the text above to reflect the fact that any volume can be dispensed, not just the pre-set amounts, something which wasn’t obvious to me from the manual. Still Highly Recommended.

I bought this as a replacement. This one is a much sleeker design and doesn’t take up as much room. The hot water it dispenses is very hot which I’m very happy about, and it dispenses in 100, 200, 300 and 400ml amounts. It heats extremely quickly and it’s no trouble to quickly re set to boil more if 400 ml is not enough. The touch control pad is sensitive and very clear. There is a lock on the machine which is very easy to unlock by pressing gently and holding the lock icon for about 3/4 seconds. For a household with someone who finds lifting a kettle difficult this is fantastic and gives some independence to make a cuppa! There was a slight defect on the corner of the machine which I didn’t notice straight away unfortunately so I would recommend checking it carefully, having said that it doesn’t affect the ability of the machine to work.

The unit was great albeit from only filling a mug half way on one push of the button. I've been very regimented about keeping it descaled when it needed it so it would last, but now it's packed up, was flashing green constantly and now won't light up at all. Reset, viniger, reset etc and no help from the company. At £80 each, looks like I'm going back to a trusty old kettle. SHAME

It is simple to use, with only one button to press and nothing to set. Only gives boiling water, but that is all I require. Old model had no water filter option, but had a cup fill illumination which is now a light that pointlessly mimics the top button light. When not in use, it uses no power, so no need to switch it off. If you want instant boiling water without any fuss, then this fits the bill.
