Albiet, its far from a VERY expensive hearingaid, its not bad.At this point in time, the only thing that is bothering me is one of the hearing aids (l) can not be turned down enough. As a result, conversations are blasting with no ability to turn the sound off. Even if I have it turned downall the way (0), it still is loud....

Please take note that the audio gain is not shown in the discription. We don't know the amplification capablilities. Don't buy a pig in a poke. Before you purchase this, obtained the specifications. Find out how much gain you will need.These did not meet my expectations and I returned them for credit.

This product didn’t even last a year - save your moneyUpdate - I received new hearing aids under the warranty which is great because these are the most comfortable and clearest sounding hearing aids I have found to date.

This hearing aid works ok for the money. If you order be prepared to wait a loooooong time for delivery. After a month the right ear air stopped working completely. They said they would replace it and that was a long time ago and I am still waiting.

Batteries have lasted me upwards of 20 hours, but the sound quality just isn't there. Can't listen to music because it distorts the sound, can't open the window in my car because the noise cancellation flutters non stop

Hadv problems out of the box with left unit holding a charge. It is the best designed aid and charging unit I have tried. Unfortunately it is only an amplification device and has the same weakness (as do all non-bluetooth) of making background noise louder than the voice I was trying to hear. I am returning them in hopes of upgrading to unit with cell phone controls.

A couple of years ago I purchased BTE personal amplifying device with sound tubes and they eventually stopped working. I started researching BTE devices with receiver in the ear canal (RIC) and thought it would be worth trying. I have hearing loss due to working around jet engines my whole life and was told that expensive hearing aids wouldn't correct the loss of higher frequencies so I determined that it would be a waste to spend over $5,000 for professional hearing aids. Well my previous BTE devices with the sound tubes helped but I had to increase to almost full volume and was constantly changing batteries. I received these devices yesterday and I'm more than pleased with them. I really didn't have an adjustment period because I've worn my other devices for years. I have the volume at it's lowest setting and can easily hear everything. Now with that said don't expect "normal" hearing like you had when you were 20 years old, even expensive hearing aids won't accomplish that. My Wife really likes these because she can turn the TV down and doesn't have to force herself to talk loud so I can hear her. These are very comfortable to wear and I don't have to keep pushing the sound tubes in my ear to "seat" them. Just put these on and enjoy your day. I will NEVER go back to devices with sound tubes!

These replace a pair of inexpensive but custom fitted hearing aids I had for nearly 7 years. I get a hearing test every year with no change year to year, so I thought my hearing aids were fine. Conversation and music became more muddled over the years, higher volumes simply congested my hearing with or without hearing aids. I believed my hearing could not be corrected. Those aids finally died!I went to the well-known supplier of discount hearing aids, took their test which again showed little change from past results. However, they allowed me to try their $2000 hearing aids, corrected for my needs and the result was stunning! I could hear soft conversations in the hearing test room even with the technician wearing his mask. We then went into the store, even with background noise, conversation was easy to understand!Since the custom/expensive aids would be delivered in three weeks, I decided to buy these, very inexpensive, non-customized aids. REMARKABLE! These OTC aids with three hearing programs; normal, noise and outside, perform much like the $2000 pair! I'm wearing these daily, I no longer have to ask: "please say again," "would you repeat that," or: "I'm sorry, I missed that!" I can hear again. Lucky for me the old aids quit!I still ordered the $2000 pair for Bluetooth and professional support, but I'll wear these until I get the others and in other situations where I don't want to take the pricier version. I have a trial period for the others, maybe I'll send them back.
