Swim system level 3 without the tube float
I bought the one that does not include the tube float because I don't want my child to be reliant on a tube, but more on himself. I started with level 1 when he was 1, level 2 when he turned 2 and now this is number 3 and he's 3. This is a good swim aid to learn actual skills. He has free movement of his arms, legs and he actually needs to tread water to stay above the water. The first day was a bit tricky, as he adjusted to having more support from level 2 to low support level 3. The second day, he was treading water. In a couple months I will slowly start removing the pads or depending on how quickly he develops better swim level. This will not keep your kid completely afloat, this will just give them a boost to keeping themselves up, which is what beginner swimmers need.

Toddler swimmer
I previously gave this product a review of a 4 and feel like I need to come back and give it a better rating. Iโve now gave it a five. At first my grandson seemed to fall to the right or left with this on in the pool and even thought it kind of keep him up, he did not know how to kick and hold himself up straight. After using it for two months, it is now working wonderfully. He is a small 18 month old now around 20 lbs. I would recommend this as a great first flotation device when they are too small for water wings.

Better options available
I liked this ok for my 18 month old. I am teaching her how to swim and for the most part this works ok for that purpose. What drives me crazy is that I canโt get it so it wonโt push up into her face. You can only make the belt around their waist so tight and when theyโre swimming it slides up and is right under her chin. I keep having to adjust it the whole time weโre in the pool. It drives me crazy. I wouldnโt recommend there are better options out there.

Taught my 3 year old how to swim
Taught my 3 year old how to swim in about a month. Was a great purchase and we are so happy we tried it. Just try and remove the floats quickly so they donโt get too used to it. We removed one float every 2-3 days once he got the hang of being able to move around the pool wearing the floatie.

Fits perfect
If your child knows the basic they will be fine. My daughter is 22 months getting up was a little difficult but nothing we couldn't handle

Ill fitting design
The straps are very thin, and only fasten on one side which means you have to tighten, let the kids swim/exhale fully and then tighten again. Material loosens with movement, which means flotation component rides up around childโs face as crotch strap tries to split them in two. We tossed ours after first swim.

Cute but smaller than I expected
I didn't realize how tiny this would look. But it seems to fit my 3 year old fine. It's tight in some spots and loose in others, so a little strange. It seems to work much like a life vest for him at this point as he didn't want to swim with it, but used it for sitting in an inflatable boat. Happy with it.

Fit
We found the swimvest impossible to tighten enough to stop it from floating up. We tightened the strap that runs between his legs tighter...and that helped somewhat but now he's complaining about his bottom hurting and it is chafed considerably.
