Daylight UN91171 Clip-On Spectacle Magnifier

I had previously bought a pair of clip on magnifiers which made me feel as though I were looking through a tunnel. I decided to try these to see if they would help me in reading. When I first got them, I was skeptical because it looked as though I would have them destroyed in a short time. However, I've found that they really work well, and I like having different magnifications. When I do close work , I use the highest power. When I read, I use the next lowest, and when I use my tablet, lower still. This is a good product.\Update. Well, I've got to pull back a little on my previous review. I've had one of the magnifiers break and the holder's spring broke as well. Even though I tried to be gentle with this product, it just isn't built to last. Great idea, but poor choice of materials.

Ive been using these for over 5 years now and they are great for close up detailed work. I rarely clip them on my glasses (but I sometimes do) I have them attached to my light at work. I have found I don't like the extra weight on my head and this set up does the trick. I have 2 sets one for each work station Im at. Im a dental technician and need to see detailed work with my hands and these are perfect for that. I use the lowest magnification and along with my glasses its perfect. They have gotten a little scratched up over the years but like I stated there over 5 years old and used daily.

I wear reading glasses but can still read a newspaper with some effort without them. I can no longer see my fingerprint, with or without the readers. This kit is very nice. Small, well organized and very functional. You look pretty funny wearing it, my wife teased me. I will just use it in private. Works well, I can even see my fingerprint again.

The magnifiers are good quality and they work well for close sewing and craft work. However, where they snap onto the attachment for the glasses is flimsy. It takes a little more force than I think it should to place the magnifiers into the clip-on area. I am concerned the attachment piece will break, leaving the device useless. Shipping was "free", even so it took too much time to receive the order. I paid for my order on the 17th, it was not sent out until 4 days later. I finally received it on the 28th.

I have a similar pair but wanted higher magnification still and this set gave me that with the 3.0x magnification. These lenses are mostly for close in work which is what I use them for, like soldering tiny ICs.Overall a good value for what it is, plastic lenses and holder.

For the price these work really great. They magnify well, attaches and detaches easily to glasses and the case is attractive. Very good for close up work. I bought them to use when doing lash extensions.

I purchased these clip-on magnifiers to use when embroidering. I typically use a magnifier which attaches to the embroidery hoop but find that this increases the weight of the hoop and leads to hand fatigue. So a magnifier that attaches to my glasses seemed like the ideal solution. Unfortunately these magnifiers did not work for me. The clip did not fit my glasses properly and I was never able to adjust the lens so that I could see out of it. Also I found it cumbersome to have to move the lens out of the way every time I needed to look away from my work to consult the pattern (something that you have to do frequently).

For the price, I anticipated a fairly 'cheap' version of the expensive brand that I have - which only includes one magnification strength. I was beyond surprised at the quality and how absolutely similar they are to the high-dollar ones that we own. I'm about to order SEVERAL more of these! At this price, we can have a set everywhere we need them! (Home, office, car, shop, etc.......) We couldn't be happier with these!

The clip on magnifier for my glasses arrived on time and are very good, having three size magnification is very good for different projects. I am very happy with them.

I ordered these to help me do crafts and they are great. As I already wear prescription glasses for reading, I can clip these to them and they work really well and it is convenient to flip them up and down. Very happy with the nice little box it all comes in as well. The only drawback is they are a little heavy, but you get used to that.
