I am very happy to say these are far more robust and better quality than I was expecting.My 3yr old Grandson loves putting these together. They feel chunky and strong. The instructions are not very good so it was a challenge to transform the 5 dinosaurs to join together to make the large one, but again it goes together well.Great value!

No instructions but my 6y old figured it out how to assemble it looking at the picture. Not great quality but kept him busy for a while.

The media could not be loaded. I have tried a couple of these building dinosaur toys and this one was definitely the best so far as the others were completed in less than 10 mins this one kept the 5 year boy that I look after occupied for a good half an hour. He followed the picture instructions and built each individual one then with my help we combined them to get the transformer style dinosaur. This is good for motor skills, coordination and great for the imagination as you can tweak them to form slightly different creatures. You do get one screwdriver per creatue so a few children could use this together.G loved every minute of building this and can continue to use it over and over.Woukd make a great gift for a 5-6 year old.

We had a Jurassic Park theme going last year and everything dinosaur was in. My grandkids still play with them and this one scores (and scored highly) because of the five in one element in building and deconstructing it. My granddaughter who is the budding engineer (4 at the time) took to this instantly and after me reading the instructions and showing her what to do, she pretty much mastered the whole thing quickly, certainly faster than her one year older brother. The dinosaurs can be played with individually or you can in transformers/power rangers fashion make one big mega dinosaur. On the individual dinosaurs the head, legs and tails are articulated to can move. You get three screwdrivers to help build or take them apart and it was just so much fun and kept them entertained for hours.

Started of ok went together well but then when building into the large robot one of the arms just kept falling off ,under closer inspection it just wouldn't stay in the arm socket very disappointing my child was upset he thought he'd broke it 😔

This is a fun construction toy, which I would say was most suited for children aged 5 plus, not 3 plus, due to the small parts and the level of difficulty to assemble the five included dinosaurs.Each dinosaur is different, but they can all be assembled into one larger transformer style dino creature, using the manual screwdriver included in the set, with the chunky screws.The set is very reasonable value for money at just under £12 at time of review and the parts are made from a tough durable plastic.

My wife ordered these for her Y2 classroom and the children give them a double thumbs up! They’re great for fine motor skills, problem solving and following instructions. She offers this as an activity for indoor breaktime, free choice play and as a fine motor activity if needed. As my wife wanted multiple children to build at the same time she built the dinosaurs and put them into labelled sandwich bags initially. This allowed her to play, I mean check that they had all the parts! She photocopied the instructions so a set could go in each bag. The set comes with all the parts to build 5 dinosaurs and some spare parts to use the dinosaurs to build 1 larger model. The only down side is that the set comes with 4 screwdrivers, not 5. Obviously for home use 4 is more than enough but for how my wife is using this set, 5 would have been the ideal. The instructions have a paragraph about each dinosaur which is a great addition.

My 6 year old loves dinosaurs, so I thought I'd try these for him to play with. They didn't come with instructions in the box, but he managed to assemble them anyway. They're adjustable and transformable, with a nice big screw driver that comes in the box.He is having great fun with them !Very happy to recommend.
