After soldering the components do I need to program this with software on my pc or is this a simple learning to solder kit?

is there any way to make it a 12 hour clock instead of a 24 hour military clock?

After assembly, the buzzer continues to buzz as soon as power is supplied to the unit. I am able to navigate through the menus fine. any solutions?

When I plug in my clock, it shows 12:59 and one minute later the alarm will ring as the default alarm is set for 1:00. After going through the menu and setting the correct time and turning off alarms it works fine. If your clock buzzes all the time, you probably have a short when you soldered the buzzer causing power to be supplied to the buzzer continously. Recheck the soldered connections at the buzzer.
