Wanted to know what birch syrup was like, and this *seems* high quality?
Huge maple syrup nut, and wanted to expand my tree sap sugar product experience. Zero frame of reference in discerning birch syrup quality, but this is a potent, nuanced product in a nice bottle that my little foodie brain looks at and says "sure, that's probably top shelf birch syrup?" Most simplified description of flavor would be a concentrate of Tawny Port or Madeira wine. Worked well as a substitute for maple syrup in my whiskey sours and in place of a balsamic reduction on roasted brussels sprouts (kind of meets the middle ground between maple and balsamic the more I think about it). I think I will use it sparingly and deliberately due to its distinct taste, and not abuse it as a sugar substitute for everything like my maple syrup. If you wanna try birch syrup, might as well be this one!

Amazing flavor
This isn't for maple syrup nuts...this is savory, like the balsamic version of tree syrups. Better nutritional value and versatile...use this with toasted pumpkin seed oil, Greek yogurt and blue berries, in my yogurt for breakfast and use it to baste fish and shrimp with creole seasoning...good stuff.

Pure and strong
This is far more concentrated than expected and darker like it was cooked, not gently evaporated. We will continue to experiment to try to get the full benefit of this precious liquid.

Delicious flavor, great packaging. A wonderful gift.
Amazing!! Delicious flavor. I gave this as a gift, the recipient raved about how wonderful it was. He actually hid it away so he could have it all to himself, and not have to share with his wife and children!😆

Attractive product, but not what I was expecting.
On the surface, everything about this product/order was great... shipping was fast, the item was securely packed to keep it intact, the bottle is nice and solid, and the graphic design is really attractive. However, this was my first time tasting birch syrup, and although I was excited to try it, it turns out I don't like it that much. I assumed it would taste like a variation on maple, but it doesn't. The taste is sour, with berry-like notes. Some people compare it to molasses, but I don't taste the connection. I'm really not sure what I'll do with it, but maybe I'll find something!

Burnt caramel flavor
The product looks and tastes like a caramel sauce taken too far. I've never had birch syrup before and therefore have no baseline for what a good birch syrup should taste like, but if this is what this product is meant to taste like it has no place in my pantry. That being said this brand's maple syrup is very good.

Not too sweet, just right
I used it in stews, stir fry, braised beef short ribs ect .. Love this stuff .. It's earthy ,not too sweet like maple syrup .. It's my new go to for extra flavor
