actually work really well!
If your having issues with wind noise on your action cam, or other small camera with a small microphone hole(s) - these really do help. They also stick to where you put them surprisingly well.I used two on a yi action cam that has stereo mic holes. These microphones (generally) only record good audio in still air. Just a little wind and you get that blasted air sound - strong wind? pretty useless mics. But with these windscreens the mics work well with up to a 10-15 mph wind. Any faster than that, and I still get wind noise, but it is much reduced, and even in high wind situations, I consider the audio pretty good (certainly much improved).I didn't want to spend almost $20 on something so insignificant, and when they arrived, it looked even less impressive - but I've only used 2 of the 8 fuzzy pieces - I haven't tried stacking the felt ones for an improved wind resist, but I'll try that on the next camera I put these on.All that matters is these work - the double stick tape seems solid - and there isn't really another product like them. I'm glad I gave this item a try.

Didn't work
Did not dampen windnoise even when directly on mic ports for gopro, probably not thick enough.

Less wind noise.
My husband uses this on his GoPro mounted on his hang glider. Much quieter with the wind noise. We can actually hear talking.

overpriced
I bought these for the GoPro Hero Session and assumed they would work since that's the camera that's modeled in the product photo. Unfortunately, these are still way too big and require modification to fit on the Session. After I did attach a small piece of one, it barely reduced wind noise and could be seen in the picture for viewing angle above "medium". Finally, even if these fit and worked, they're way overpriced. They're basically just discs of imitation fur fabric and some 3M sticky circles (just found on Amazon for $11.99 for a 500 pack). If you're tempted to try them, just DIY.
