Really like the way this mat holds the buttons in place but also you can leave in the piece to not have a gap if not using. Has held up well and doesn't slide around on the floor.

I like that this mat keeps all the buttons organized and in place! It even comes with stickers to label each of your buttons. It was also larger than I excepted which is awesome. I like that you can connect multiple together to keep your whole collection together. I just have a few suggestions for improvement: I wish it was a little better at keeping the buttons in it. My pup loves to claw at the buttons so I have to keep putting them back in. I also wish there was an option for a four pack. I got the starter pack (4 buttons) and the Next Words packs (3 buttons each) with two of these mats and it leaves some empty spots. Overall, this is definitely a must-have if you are getting any of the talking pet buttons!

These mats are great and go with the buttons of the same brand. If you have smart dogs and like to train with them, then this is a fun way to communicate with your dog. I have 2 dogs, but only 1 likes his buttons, and I use these mats to add additional buttons as we continue to train. I can tell by the expression on his face that he is having fun and he thinks he is quite the big deal when he presses his buttons. He understands exactly what he is doing when he presses any of the buttons. It's fun to work with him, and to get closer with him, but it does take time and effort, and he does have to understand the meaning of the words you use before he can understand what he wants when he presses the buttons. I would definitely recommend this for anyone willing to work with their dog, and who will spend the time and effort to train them.

I kinda regret this purchase. I've like the talking buttons in general, but I didn't realize that people might use different words for activities. In my case, I use "dinner" for meals. This set uses "eat," and the words are fixed. You can't change the name. The benefits to having fixed words is that my hyper dog can't reset the word by accidentally smacking the programming button when she's trying to "talk." A better solution for all the buttons would be to move the programming button to the base. Maybe even put it in the battery case. I've also had issues with the buttons sticking. On other sets I've had that problem with the programming button, and with the main button (like on these) sticking over time. In general they are a nice value for those of us trying to break into talking buttons without breaking the bank. I haven't tried any other sets, so I'm not sure if they are more or less durable than some other options. My pup gets very excited and will get rough with smacking these things. I've seen other sets send the word to your phone. That would be nice, but those are also much more expensive. So it's nice to have this option and not break the bank. If you're just starting out, this is a good set to get, as long as you haven't established your own words. The box does show what each button is programmed to say. It was my bad for not paying more attention to that.

Initial review: my large talking buttons fit perfectly into it, although there was a minimal amount of fiddling. Cat seemed to accept them immediately (as evidenced by her once again doing CPR on the"laser" button).

They worked great, but my cat wouldn't use them, so I gave them to a neighbor who has cats.

Great for just a mat for buttons, its my bad I didn't notice that it didn't come with any buttons. I'm only leaving it as one star for when people look at the lowest reviews. Not sure how well the mat would work for holding buttons.

Sie kann nun schon 5 Worte, die sie gezielt einsetzt. Und nein, sie fordert nicht die ganze Zeit Leckerlis ein, sondern auch kuscheln, toben und Gassi. Die Qualität der Matte und der Buzzer sind sehr gut. Dass das ganze erweiterbar ist, ist genial. Lediglich ein paar mehr Beschriftungsetiketten hätte ich mir gewünscht, das wäre alles. Klare Kaufempfehlung, wenn der Hund dafür ein Talent hat und gerne lernt und die Hund-Mensch-Beziehung wird auf eine neue Ebene gehoben. Toll!

Very good product but my dog use the button to get my attention all the time now so I have to stop using this. My dog is too talkative!

Scam product. Says in tiny writing buttons not included, but description and images talk about expert advice about helping your pet learn to talk. Item also says 2 pieces on the packaging and you only get one piece. It also says includes blank labels which it does not. It is basically just a mat

Excellent base for the talking buttons. Keeps them in the same place so the animal (my cat) can learn easily. Quality material and lightweight.
