Fun toy, great box
This is a fun box, it fit together pretty good once it was put together, but like someone else said, follow the instructions. Done right, it is a sturdy box. Even the lid fits in a specific way, so if it doesn't seem to snap right, rotate it and try again. I kept the original packaging to put it away when I was done displaying it, but discovered it actually makes a great storage box for other figures, so I just keep it out. And by the way, Jonsey from Fortnight looks great floating in the middle of the cube.

Easy to assemble, cute & fun!
Everything snaps into place perfectly easy, and the plastic's warping is part of the "gelatin cube wobble" texture going on. Had no issues with assembly (make sure the base plate isn't upside down, folks!) Surprised by the size of it. The little figures "stuck" in the cube can be removed. I'm incredibly pleased with the purchase and its price.A lot of the negative feedback simply comes from people expecting an action figure inside the cube, but nowhere was an action figure promised. It clearly says "Compatible with 6-Inch Scale D&D Action Figures" meaning yes you do have to buy your own 6" action figure to put inside the cube, but it also means you can put almost ANY 6" figure inside the cube. Up to YOU and YOUR imagination, like D&D itself.I put a Master Chief in mine for now. Since it's on display in my tabletop games/dining room hybrid I think I'll dress it up for holidays. Santa stuck in there would be funny.

Awesome accessories
Love the cube! Awesome little accessories and of course the cube itself is awesome. Solid plastic and goes together relatively easily. I thought it was warped at first but then i was able to snap it together if you turn the one piece. If it doesn't go together, its you and not the cube, try it again (from someone who id the same thing). Be sure to get one of the figures too so he can be set to float through the cube!

Stupid fun toy!
The instructions aren’t that great and it is kind of difficult to fit the pieces together but once you get the cube assembled correctly everything should align together perfectly. It looks really cool when it’s all put together especially with an action figure “floating” inside of it! Looks really cool on a shelf and makes a great conversation piece. I wasn’t going to pay full price for this and got it at a discount and it was definitely worth it at that price. You may want to keep the instructions just to put it back together correctly if you take it apart again.

Cool toy, chintzy construction
Even though the movie was a pile of garbage, I bought this, because how often do you get the chance to buy a gelatinous cube toy that you can put other toys inside of like they got "engulfed" by the cube? I like that there are removable items so you can make it look like stuff is stuck all over the cube too. The problem is this was made very chintzy. The plastic feels cheap and the build is flimsy. The "lid" doesn't even line up right nor does it grip good. Even the little accessories you can stick all over the cube are cheaply-made, a couple of them are even hard to tell what they are right away, because they are so poorly done.I grabbed this on sale, and still feel like I paid a little too much. But once again when am I going to get the chance to grab something like this?Luckily I am an adult who mostly is going to sit it on my shelf for display. I couldn't imagine a kid playing with it. I don't think it would hold up to my original idea of using it to hold my dice. So shelf decoration it is, maybe I will put a tea light or something in it.I wish the line had some generic characters like a Death Knight or Town Guard or Mind Flayer or anything, just something not one of the leads from the awful movie, so I could put it in the cube.Oh well, at least I have a gelatinous cube!

Nothing Has Desolved Yet
My husband has this sitting on top of one of his lamps so the light gloves through. I got him a figure to go with it and it comes with plenty of accessories. It gives a nice ambiance to his computer room between the glow and the fact that you can't help but smile when you see it. A great gift for anyone who enjoys a good gelatinous cube.

They don't make toys like this anymore
I thought this would be a little cube. It is not. It's a giant cube that can fit any action figure. You will have to assemble it as it is a 6 sided cube that comes unassembled. But after sliding everything into place with a firm hand, it's sure to hold up for a very long time as long as your not using it as a football. Also, the attention to detail with all of the extra items stuck on the outside of the cube was a very nice touch. I would definitely buy again, and just might.

Fun idea, sloppy execution.
The gelatinous cube is one of my favorite D&D monsters. It's a giant glob of jelly that scours the dungeons for food. This toy is basically a transluscent "box" that you can put things into. You can put another action figure in it and it kinda sorta looks like the cube is eating it. My disappointment is that you can easily see the seams and all of its undigested food is attached to the outside of it (rather than inside, where it looks more menacing). Not enough design effort given the high retail price. This amount of simple plastic walls and snap-on undigested equipment does not justify the price. Be sure to find this at a lower price, no more than $25 imo.I'm glad I have it, but it's not something I would recommend to anyone but die-hard DnD fans.

Currently being used for dice
My sister was looking for something nice to store her dice in, so I bought her this gelatinous cube! Once it's built, it doesn't come apart easily (except the lid that is supposed to be removable, of course). I'm not sure how it would handle being filled to the rim with dice, but her current dice bag and any loose polyhedrons she has fit perfectly and look great through the walls of the cube. If you own one of the action figures from the movie (which is not included), you can place the character in the cube for funsies, but the cube looks neat without the figure inside. (It will always look cooler with something—anything—placed inside though.) My only true complaint is that one if the sides didn't align perfectly (it's only off by a millimeter or so, but it makes the lid sit slightly crooked—most won't notice, but it does bug her and we can't get it apart to fix it). On the plus side, this makes the lid/top easier to remove. Overall it's a pretty fun display piece and I highly recommend it to any aspiring dungeon crawler.

It's a big empty box
If you really like D&D and want to use this as a diorama to take pictures of your figures, it does the job. But overall it's a big empt box with accessories and stand. Bigger than I thought but fits 6-7" figues well.
