I bought a Spigen case for my Steam Deck LCD back in 12/2022, and have used it for the past year, eventfully transferring it to the Steam Deck OLED I now have. It's a good quality case with tight fit, but on the slightly heavy side, and without a kickstand. (they make a more expensive kickstand model now) I've encountered quite a few times where a kickstand would be nice, and the Spigen case's grips aren't quite grippy enough, eventually causing wrist fatique. I saw this Benazcap case for hilariously cheap, so I decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did. The case is slightly lighter and thinner than the Spigen case, likely a little less protective to drops as a result, but the weight savings are appreciated. The thinner case also has the side effect of making the Deck easier to hold as well. The drips have a checkered texture that feels nice, and the Deck is easier to hold as a result. The TPU feels fine, not too rubbery, or sticky and cheap like silicone cases can be. The kickstand is probably the weakest part of the case, as it relys on the weight of the Steam Deck leaving against it to stay propped up. If you pick up the Deck, the stand will fall, and you'll have to push the stand back out. It works find, it's just flimsy. The back is also a little gaudy; I preferred the toned down appearance of the Spigen case, or the Deck on it's own. The front is fine. No logo, minimal lines. The outer edges of the case have little raised studs that likely function as cushions in the event of a drop. They aren't placed anywhere near your hands so they're fine. Overall, it's impossible to beat for the price. I'll probably end up using it more than the Spigen case I paid 4x as much for.

Working really good so far. Fits comfortably in hands and also fits inside the OEM steam case. Has some grip on the backside where your hands would hold the controller part of the steam deck. has a pretty good kick stand built in and it is pretty easy to take off and put back on. Also fits in my after market dock which is the Catlyn Docking Station 6 in 1 ( https://a.co/d/2KOdgLe ) please make a front cover that can be compatible with this same case!

The inspiration for this case is a bit obvious when you start to look around. Of course that's not a bad thing if the execution is done right, and for this one I would have to say it is. I'm roughly 2 weeks in and it's a very proper case. The kickstand takes some getting used to, but there's a very helpful video on this Amazon listing from a customer that perfectly details how to get it working. The kickstand will snap at a fixed position after opening it up and pushing its inner hinges upwards. It will NOT fall down. To get it down is just the opposite. Instead of pushing the hinges up, you'll want to pull the hinges downward to un-lock it. It does require some force though. Installation was very easy. Slipped right on, and the triggers didn't need much adjusting. Ergonomics are great, cutouts are precise, kickstand is sweet, grip is about right. Fits my USB C magnetic adapter just fine, haven't a dock to test. I believe this to be one of the best ones out there currently alongside Spigen and dbrand's killsw!tch case. Lots of other cases don't have this quality, and for a very affordable price. This is a great choice. April '23 Update: Docked a star. It is excellent but not perfect. Recently got a dock and what hinders this case from being perfect is its utility alongside one. The case adds a couple mm's of thickness making it difficult to fit most charging docks. Added to that, removing the case is tedious since it clings to the Deck very tightly and the case mold isn't very bendable.

I bought this on a whim when it had a very deep discount, despite many review saying the kickstand collapses in on itself. It turns out everyone's using it wrong. You're supposed to pull it open until you hear a solid click, locking it open and making it very stable! The trick is, with the Deck facing you (as if you were playing it), open the stand, then place your hand under the hinge connecting the two pieces of the stand. While stabilizing your Deck with the other hand, keep your fingers straight and use your hand to firmly "backhand" push the larger stand piece outward and away from you, with pressure focused near the hinge. You might feel like you're about to break it, just slowly and steadily exert more pressure until it clicks. Now it won't collapse on itself! In fact, it might feel just as hard to close it again. To do so, cover the larger stand piece with your palm, near the hinge. Again, with fingers straight and firm, slowly exert more pressure with your palm until it collapses. It should feel easier to click open and closed the more you do it. Once I figured out the locking mechanism, I like this waaay more than the kickstand on the more expensive case of one of the more well-known Deck accessory brands. That one was flimsy, didn't lock and eventually came loose causing it to just annoyingly swing during gameplay. This case, on the other hand, solidly looks both OPEN and CLOSED. Finally, although the plastic back isn't the nicest looking, it feels like it will provide much more protection than your usual soft TPU case. Definitely worth it! Both cheaper and better than my previous case!

For about $10 this is fantastic. The fit is pretty accurate. It was very easy to install. I put the top of the Steam Deck in first then pushed the bottom in. Of course, the buttons are a little harder to press but that's unavoidable of you put a case on. It also fits in the original steam case. It's very snug but that's also expected. The stand works great and seems to be sturdy. All the cutouts are in the right spots including the cutouts for the vent. All the buttons and triggers on the back are just as accessable as without the case. There's also texture where your hands hold device and it feels grippy. Such a great buy. I'm sure it will also last through a few falls. We've already dropped the Deck a few times and it's very resilient even without the case but this will be extra protection.

The case fits snuggly and lines up perfectly with all air slots and buttons. Top buttons are recessed into the case which I think is perfect. This case will still fit into the factory travel case (but it is more snug in it). Doesn't seem to affect the joysticks in the factory case. This case will not seat into the Warrky dock (cause it has a kickstand) but it will sorta sit on top of the slot but it still seems stable this way. The kickstand is awesome. Made out of metal (including the slide) and not plastic like most of the others. When you pull the kickstand out you'll have to give it a quick tug to lock it open. Same with closing it. Give it a quick bump and it will release. I recommend this case for your steam deck.

First for the important kickstand information: I see the reviews on how the kickstand is pretty bad. Once I got mine, I see why people were upset about it. You barely move the Steam Deck and it will fall over. Kickstand solution: HOWEVER, after having it for about a good week, I found out the solution that should have been obvious to us that did not see it before. You have to pull the kickstand from the bottom until you hear a "click " sound (Watch the video with audio as I do this), which then makes the kickstand work 100% as intended (Also shown in video). With that out of the way, here is the true review: The Steam Deck already feels amazing to hold, but this case makes it feel even better. The volume buttons, air vents, charging ports, micro SD card slot, and 3.5mm headphone jack are not hindered or blocked off. If you purchased the high-end Steam Deck that came with the case, it will fit easily and snug into the case with zero problems (Shown in the video). initially I was going to rate this case a 3-star, but then I found the solution to why the kickstand was not working for me at first(view info above) - this case now deserves 5 stars for being as solid as it is. The verdict: I 100% recommend this case to anyone, its worth ever penny.

An excellent option for protecting your precious SteamDeck. Snug fit on the deck, feels great in-hand, and well built. My only complaint is that the case expands the width of the deck, and it would no longer fit in my docking station. (OwlTree 2022 stand with an anker usb hub. RIP Owltree stand, I lovededed you piggy. I lovededed you.) That was remedied by buying a dock with a wider recess for the deck to fit into. I ended up buying the stand from the same company as this case - Benazcap Docking Station. The case fits perfectly into the new docking station! I am distrustful of budget docking stations, after the switch dock frying fiasco of years back, so I do not use the Benazcap ports or plugs. I still use my anker hub, which has worked well for over six months, and forgo risking it with the budget dock plugged into my expensive steamdeck. Had it for over a month now with no complaints! Great case, and sturdy companion dock. If anyone here has tested the case to see if it fits with the new official steam dock, let us know! (Anker usb hub is great, but too many cords and a bit fiddly...bothers my ocd)

Probablement la meilleure coque à l'heure actuelle pour la console de Valve. Tout est très bien pensé, il y a des trous là où il faut pour les boutons, les ports ou encore les aérations. Le matériau employé est de bonne qualité, assez flexible pour insérer la console la première fois mais assez ferme pour ne pas gondoler, à voir dans le temps avec l'effet de la chaleur cependant. Les grips sur les poignées sont confortables, ils accrochent bien et limitent la transpiration des mains. Et surtout, la béquille à l'arrière est une agréable surprise, elle est étonnamment discrète et bien conçue. Au moment de l'achat j'ai trouvé cette coque un peu chère mais au final je ne regrette pas mon choix. Elle est de plus assez sobre et on oubli vite quelle ne fait pas partie intégrante de la machine quelle accueille.

In commercio al momento non c'è molta scelta per le cover Steam-Deck, molte sembrano discrete, nessuna definitiva. Attendevo il nuovo modello d-brand ma: -70€ + costi di spedizione e importazioni, quasi 100€ di cover, anche se di alta qualità -E' stata rimandata per difetti magnetici con la ventola interna dello steam deck. Quindi dopo varie ricerche mi sono buttato su questa: -ha un fit eccezionale, come già lo steam deck nudo. Non aggiunge "spessore" a livello di feeling. -i materiali sembrano premium (plastica sul retro a parte, che è comunque buona) -lo stand, una volta provato, diventa necessario sia per giocare in comodità che per usare il deck appoggiato durante configurazioni e desktop mode. -Calza perfettamente e non influisce sull'airflow/temperature. -Rispetto a cover in silicone non lascia residui sulla console ed è anche facile da rimuovere volendo. -Entra perfettamente nell'housing originale valve, quindi nessun problema in tal senso. Non trovo aspetti negativi per questo case è semplicemente la soluzione migliore attualmente in commercio e dato che l'unica vera cover di "alta qualità" si farebbe pagare quasi 70€ in più tra spese di trasporto e importazione doganale, direi che vivrò molto felicemente con questa per molto tempo, anche a prezzi simili non vedrei il motivo di prendere l'altra se non per la cover superiore da trasporto che sembrava interessante ma oggettivamente inutile dato che quella che fornisce valve è favolosa. Stra-consigliata.

Absolutely love this case! It fits my Steam Deck OLED perfectly and gives it a nice, secure grip without adding too much bulk.
